Hops!
Hops is closely related to cannabis and they have complimentary effects. Xanthohumol is a really "mellow" molecule. Seems to function a little bit like gabapentin. I don't drink anymore but found myself drinking non-alcoholic beers. This has been way easier.

helpful
I bought this supplement to help with inflammation. After doing much research it seems to have many other benefits. However, much more testing needs to be done to know for sure what the true benefits and risks may be. I have found the Xanthohumol does help with my foot inflammation, I just wish I better knew what the real dose should be. It also has an effect of making me sleepy. I take it in the morning and do fine. When I take it again in the afternoon or evening I do get sleepy, however I sleep better than ever. I plan to keep using this and trying different dosing to know what is right for my pain level. Happy to have found Zanthohumol and would like to find a 100% organic brand of this.

Kind of expensive for what it is, not sure if it's worth it.

State-of-the-art flavanoid
If your supplement curiosity has carried you so far as to read a review of a new xanthohumol supplement, you are likely well informed on the nature of flavonoid supplementation. The clinical basis and publications supporting xanthohumol are recent (21st century) and extensive. I believe I first saw a deep-dive research article into the hops flavonoid some 15-20 years ago and was impressed at the time. Resveratrol was a 'new' supplement at the time. Flavonoids were emerging as a health enhancement. It's expensive. But, it's well worth a try out of curiosity alone. No reportable side effects so far.
