Good narration and story!
4 stars3 spice4 audioThis was an angsty story about second chances that I enjoyed listening to. The narration was good with good chemistry between the narrators. While I did get a bit irritated with Samantha’s inability to state her truths, I do admit that she is much like a real person with real fears and anxiety in the way she was portrayed. This was a good story, and I definitely recommend it!

THE BEST Father’s Day gift!
Strange as it may seem - I picked this particular book to read on Father’s Day. It was absolutely perfect!! I loved everything about the story. About Jack, Samantha, and Lucy! It was one of THE BEST stories I have ever read!!!

Secrets, secrets are no fun!
Samantha and Jack have a complicated past that starts about 8 years prior to the main plot of the book. The two meet when Jack starts working for Samantha’s brother. Despite the rational part of their brains that scream DON’T DO IT, they fall into bed together. Then abruptly, Jack grows a conscience and kicks Samantha to the curb because he doesn’t want to rock the boat with her brother. He cuts ties and Samantha has no choice but to walk away.Fast forward 8 years, they run into each other again at the super bowl (Did I mention Samantha’s brother plays for the NFL?). Jack is somehow more handsome now and wants to pick up where they left off, but Samantha has way more baggage than he does. Secrets come to light and they’re left to decide, can they forgive each other for past mistakes? This one is a pretty light and fluffy read. It’s predictable, but not in a bad way. It’s super cute and has a lovely happily ever after. The interactions between the characters are adorable and made me consistently smile, but the real MVP of the story is Samantha’s brother for just being an all around stand up guy. Three cheers for great support systems!

Wow III Samantha & Jack make a beautiful couple . I can understand why she didn't tell Jack about being pregnant. He said they couldn't be together because he was her. Brother's agent . She gave up calling & graduate from college after giving birth & was the. best mother she could be. So glad they realized both loved each other , Jack worshipped Lucy & Samantha iiiiii

Loved it
Second book in the series a little better than the first because the male narrator was perfect! Both are good books.

awwww
The ending is the best. Sweetest thing that could happen. It’s a shame that the communication these two needed didn’t happen until 8 years later. They missed out on a lot but I have no doubt that they would make up for it now and into the future. It’s never fun to find out you have a child and you missed out on 7 years of their life. I could feel the heart wrench and sadness and anger in the process of all of this unraveling but definitely a happy end.

loved this sassy second chance romance
Endorsed is the 2nd book of The Agency Series and again Marni knocked it out of the park. Samatha a college student and the little sister of the newly signed NFL star represent by non other than Jack a sports agent. This forbidden romance turned into a three night fling with intense chemistry, push, pull, a sassiness and sexiness to this story kept me wanting more. 8 years later and this story is full of surprises, second chances, forgiveness, and a new found family. There was a roller coaster of emotions. Lucy was just the cutest ray of sunshine. So sweet and spunky. I loved getting updates on Brett and James and the whole gang. I read listened to this book. The narrators were Sam Crowley and Callie Dalton. This was my first listen to both of them, but they kept me interested and engaged.

(Spoiler alert )
It was a sweet read. The only thing that really bothered me was the fact that Sam felt the whole thing was her fault which was rediculous and a bit on the abusive side of things. Jack's reaction and anger was completely out of place. Putting the blame on Sam was a coward thing to do, especially since he was the one who completely cut her out of his life. Overall a good second book for a series. Probably will read the next book.

One scene mars an otherwise good story
I really liked this tender, feel-good story....with one exception. At one point the heroine is at a party with family and friends. Family wants her to drink...she doesn't want to. However her sisters and brother insist that she open her mouth while her brother pours alcohol down her throat. Are you kidding me? That classifies as abuse.

Author's mindset?
I really despise people who ask for forgiveness for their transgressions and yet, cannot give it when it's their turn to forgive. He tossed her aside when she tried to tell him about being pregnant with his child, and then when he meets her by chance, he wants her to forgive him for his shabby treatment because he's fallen for her now. It was his mistake that got her pregnant, but that's just glossed over as a reason that he'll give her another chance. Seriously? Her mistakes are more egregious to him...and that spells out a really 'me first' kind of person. He claims he'll never forgive her, but it never even crosses his mind that she let him off the hook for his errors. It barely got a couple sentences in the book, which tells me that the author's mindset is that women are held to a higher level of responsibility than men are. And, that's just sad and something we, as females, should not endorse!

So well written
The topic of this book can be quite sensitive for some people and I feel like Marni did a really good job writing about it. It felt very real life like and I just adore Lucy!! This series is just fantastic!
