Security
Very secure and I like the fact that it's a keyed lock and not a combination lock cable covering is nice , just measure what you need to secure carefully and don't loose your key

A tough dependable easy to use Bike cable lock
This is a fairly heavy duty Bike cable with two keys. I used this as a replacement for an existing cable that wore out due to weathering and daily use. I expect this cable will also last for at least 5 years or longer. The keys are double edged for ease of use as you can't put them in the wrong way. There is also a sliding cover built into the lock assembly that helps to keep the lock free from water, snow, ice, and insects.

Works great as steering wheel lock!
We are suffering a rash of car thefts and mine is likely a prime target. I did not want to get 'the club' because I know it would have ended up being a PitA to constantly shuffle around in the car, wont fit under the seat, will displace passengers and as a result will get tossed around the car and eventually in the trunk. So I got this long cable and am able to run it through the seat frame and up through the steering wheel. Its flexible so I can get into the seat without issue. Once in, I unlock it, then roll it up, under the seat where there is not DVD or nav player. When I park, I can reach for the two ends and bring them up to my side and through the wheel. Works great! I'll probably paint the lock head a bright color so it is more obvious discouragement. Oh, and its a great lock for bikes too!

this lock is cheap and nasty and is really stiff to actually use. It is a waste of money and i would recommend against buying it
