Amazing
I work in a professional kitchen and this is by far the best, quickest and easiest prob I’ve ever come across hands down defiantly worth the price!

Very good buy
Works great, feels solidly built, magnet is very handy. Overall great value. Only nit pick is to switch between F and C you need to open it, remove the battery and adjust some DIP switches.

Good when it works
Was very pleased on purchase. Fast response, seems accurate (checked with ice and boiling water). Unfortunately the touch control has gone haywire as others have found. After just a few months. Now when using, the light and/or hold function activates when you go near hot food. Takes several attempts to get a read you can "trust". Buying an alternative now.

Not as quick as advertised
Always disappointing when the claims made on the ad are not the same as the ones stated in the packaging when product arrived. In this case speed to accurate reading stated on the ad was a full second quicker than the speed stated on the packaging. Tried it on a steak this week and temperature readings not accurate… Will try a few more times to see if I am missing anything, but having paid more than similar model (same brand) with slower speed to accurate reading, feeling a little let down.

Unreliable - no reply from vendor on replacement
From new this thermometer has randomly switched between modes without any user input - which is very frustrating. Makes it impossible to use. Replaced battery, tried different settings on the internal switches, no change.Tried contacting the seller - nothing.I have another one which is fine - but clearly manufacturing quality control is an issue with this product.
