This book is amazing for children 3 + to teach and learn about plastics in the ocean and what they need to do to save their oceans but in their sort of language they understandThe Preschool children loved this book over and over again

Why are there not more books with an environmental message, let's teach our kids early about how important the environment is and how they can do their bit. My daughter was captivated by little tally, the illustrations are stunning and she insists on this one for bedtime every night. Have bought a second copy of saving tally and the other one by the same author (the hidden spaceship) for my niece for christmas.

A beautifully illustrated and gentle story that subtly teaches children about plastic pollution in the ocean and its danger to sea creatures. What makes it work so well is not just the charming illustrations (the coral reef is magical!), but also the parallel storyline of friends helping each other when in trouble -- first with the little Tally Turtle rescuing Ara the lobster from a fishermen's trap and befriending him, then the lobster later returning the favour when Tally gets caught up in plastic. The factual section at the end offers opportunities for children to reflect on the story and learn more about how we can all do more to use less plastic.

Love the story however could be better quality as wont last long with a toddler

Fantastic book. I am a childminder and my 3yr olds loved this book so much. Simple and easy story to follow and they like looking at the back page photos of the turtles trapped in real bags in the ocean and discussions on rubbish always follows.

This kind of book, I think, is ideal for teaching young children about the problems facing our planet at the moment. If we don’t teach them now, what hope has anyone in the future. This is a great book, very easy to read either by young children or to young children. Thoroughly recommended.

Reading to my Nursery class. Good starter for discussing safe disposal of our rubbish.

Great children's book. Gratefully received by my niece as an Easter gift, as due to the lockdown we were unable to give Easter Eggs this year, so this was delivered directly to them.

A fun way to introduce kids to environmental Hazzards. It is child friendly and easy to read. The Illustrations are very cute. A cute book about friendship. Loved it. Highly recommended.

It is a great little picture book for young children to learn about garbage in our ocean and what we can do about it and Global warming! Nice for Mom and Dad to read about it also!
