Very good for helping understand time
My child responds well to this as a visual cue for stopping one thing and moving to the other. It helps to develop our routine. I would highly recommend it if you think you or your child will respond to it.

Small timer with a loud alarm
The media could not be loaded. A small kitchen 60 minute time, but with a big alarm. The timer also has a visual countdown in red, so you can glance at it and know how much time is left. You can set it for a 3 second alarm period, or a 60 second alarm period, also a high pitch or low pitch alarm sound. There is also no annoying tick, as it counts down.It comes with two AAA batteries included, which is always nice to see, just pull the protector tab to activate.I got this for my mother in law, as annoyingly, she doesn’t have an Alexa device, and when I’m cooking her a meal, I’m always asking Alexa to set a timer. Well now I can just set this little device.A great simple timer, easy to set up and use, I thoroughly recommend.

Inconsistent alarm and audible tick
Worked well initially but now doesn’t always sound alarm when timer has finished. Had similar problem with other brands too. Ticking is still audible

No more burnt cake!
This handy timer is so easy to use. Just turn the central knob clockwise to set the number of minutes you want to pass, up to 60 minutes, and the timer sounds when they have gone. The timer has two sound levels. One alarm is very, very quiet, one is quite loud so choose what is right for your needs. There is also a choice of the alarm sounding for three seconds or 60 seconds so again, you can choose what is right for you. Apart from when the alarm is sounding the timer is silent, no irritating ticking to annoy while it is counting down. The timer is also useful for when learning to tell the time. It shows just what the minute hand of a clock face is counting, which is ideal for young learners, our granddaughter loves it as she is only just grasping the idea of what five or ten minutes actually feels like and looks like on the clock! The timer is easy to wipe down and has two AAA batteries included. The leaflet has basic instructions but although it tells you there are controls for volume and alarm length, it does not say where they are! They are inside the battery compartment. The timer is just over three inches square in height and width and almost two inches deep. It stands firmly on a worktop, shelf or table and is not easy to knock over. The yellow case is bright and the face of the timer is white with very clear black numerals. When in use the remaining minutes are clearly shown in red.A basic, efficient timer at a very reasonable price.

Perfect for the deaf or use in noisy environment
This fabulous timer is simplicity in itself to operate. It's child's play; just turn the dial so the red section is set to the minutes you want to time. It has a very gentle ticking but unless holding up to ear you won't hear it, and if you are deaf not! There is an audible buzzer when times up but the beauty of this retro looking and feeling device is that you do not need that buzzer if you keep it in view. All you need to do is to look at it regularly and see is that the red is gone then you know times up.I love the 70s style jaunty angle if it, and the dial setting itself, and my ones colour, primrose yellow also retro. I think this timer could become a cult classic. Not only is this suitable for deaf, or partially so, but also partially sighted as it's very easy to see the numbers and the red is bright but it's also fun looking and easy to use for everyone.
