Packing a punch
I’m running this under the rear seat in a 2003 F150 Supercab. There is a lot to say about this little sub, first of all I choose to pair it with a RP-350.1 amp. I’ve ran EVL 10s and 12s in other builds and really wanted to see what a 6.5 could do. To be honest I’m pleasantly surprised with it. The best way to sum up this package is to say it’s better or equivalent to factory subs.Pros:-Decently loud-Heavy magnet and nice wiring on the inside of the box-Great value for a sub and box-Tuned to around 55Hz-Small Size, can fit in almost any vehicleCons:-Carpet isn’t completely perfect at the seams-Being designed as a factory sub alternative it has a strange tuning. Rolling notes in between 50-65hz are incredibly loud for the small package but when you start pushing the 35-45hz range it falls on its face (which this being said the sub could handle it just fine, just the tuning of the box).-Has an interesting throaty sound to it.Conclusion:This sub is a great bang for the buck if you aren’t expecting trunk banging bass but instead an enchantment to your door speakers. This sub would work perfect in a small suv or truck but would not suggest putting in the trunk of a car because it wouldn’t be very audible though the seats.Songs that sound pretty decent on it:Can’t Say - Travis ScottPoetic Justice - Kendrick LamarThis D*mn Song - PecosOne Beer - HardyJust Tryna - Night Lovell

Great for the price.
Great sound for its size. Wired in with a 6 channel amp and this thing bumps pretty good. Good quality for the price and uses nice spring loaded wire connections

Better than you think
I purchased the kicker 11HS8 powered sub hoping it would be good but it wasn’t. I ended up going with a pair of these skar 6.5’s and honestly I’m shocked how well these perform. With only being 6.5” they do have a pretty decent punch. They are never going to be a trunk cruncher bass monster like the teenagers on here are wanting them to be but they do put out a surprising amount of bass for their size. I have these tucked behind my rear seat in my 2021 F150 crew cab and they fit perfectly without any issue to the seat. These only go down to around 50hz so don’t expect them to go super low. They’re 6.5” and they’re never going to go low.Again, keep in mind these are not going to blow your windows out so don’t buy them expecting to throw 1000 watts at them and expect them to perform like a pair of 12s because you will pop them. I have a 800watt skar mono block amp on them and it’s turned down pretty far but they’re holding up pretty well. All in all, If you want to add bass to your sound in your crew cab truck, these are an awesome choice if don’t want to take up any passenger or under seat storage room in your crew cab.

6 inches is indeed enough.
WOW! I’m blown away with how well this 6 inch subwoofer sounds. Definitely not a pair of 12s, but if you just want to round off your car’s basic sound system and save space. This subwoofer is it!

Great compact sub
Excellent compact sub, very easy to install and I'm not very knowledgeable about wiring subs/amps and this was fairly easy. I paired it with the Skar 350 monoblock amp and used the Skar OFC 8 gauge wiring kit to complete this setup. Highly recommend all of it, excellent value for the money, especially the wiring kit. After reading reviews on this I've come to the assumption that the complaints about this sub is most likely due to either overpowering the sub with the amp and/or maxing out its capabilities. At 3/4 gain and LPF this sub hits hard for being small. I have it installed in my Dodge Magnum with Skar tx69s and tx35s for speakers and this subs hits with plenty of power. Personally I just like adding bass to my music when I'm driving, I'm not doing competitions or trying to blow windows out or anything. So in my opinion, this is the perfect sub for any size car or truck where you want to add more bass to your life.

Perfect fit behind bucket seat
In a single cab k10 Chevy fits good sounds good. Only have issues it cuts out and sounds horrible even being underpowered. I guess just keep the volume mid and it will be okay performing

Good little enclosure
I bought it so I can swap my 12" Solo baric when my kids are in the car. I have a 2022 Q5. I have a kicker key 500.1 amp. At 2ohms, the RMS is 300w. 300w was overpowering it and it was obvious. I purchased the same speaker in a 2ohm DVC variant so that my amp can push it at 150W RMS. The original grill didn't fit so finding a fitable grill was challenging. The original sound fine and will sound better with a matching amp. I have the speaker in the trunk so my mid bass speakers overpower this woofer and I have the rest of the 18 speakers on. I can hear it bump if I open the trunk. Probably better as an under seat woofer. There is a JL audio version that would match my RMS and resistance but this Skar one was more fun to play with and I'm not spending $300+ on a JL for a small speaker.

Surpassed expectations
For a 6” sub it is very impressive. Now, it’s not knock your rear view mirror off loud, but this sub has a smooth, tuned, low end sound that reaches into the lower end of the frequency spectrum pretty well. I’m powering it with an old school Xtant 1.1i (200 watts peak @ 2ohm) tuned through a Pioneer head unit’s sub output, crossed over at 63Hz and set @ -18 db slope. This tune works well for me and sounds great on rock, rap (old school or 90’s - 00’s) and country.
