How well does it fit on Sony nex lenses?

I put it on my 55-210mm Sony E-Mount and it's fit perfectly.

this is a 72mm size filter. All filters will fit all brands of lenses but all lenses take a different mm filter. I am guessing you have a kit lens and if so this is most likely not the right size. On the lens itself there will be a ⌀ with a number. The number is the mm filter size you should get.

I have used clear optical glass filters not UV for many years only as a protector.

Does this filter work well on a Nikon D3200 with a 18-55mm lens?

I use it on my 18-55mm lens. It cuts down on glare and keeps the lens clean. I see no unwanted effects but I'm not a professional.
