alilo Honey Bunny G6 Music/Story Player for Baby and Toddler (Blue)

My 2yo son is very passionate about music, so I thought this was a perfect gift because it was a way he could play his favorite songs and control the music himself safely. Though it was described as 4GB, it actually holds 8GB. It had a generous amount of both English and French stories and songs preloaded on it, but I removed it all and put his favorite music on it. There is a system for file names that wasn't made clear in the instructions, but I did get songs to play in a specific order by placing numbers and comma as follows: 01,*****.mp3 02,*****.mp3 etc. The sound quality is superb. The single speaker gets loud enough to fill a room with music, and has surprisingly good bass, treble, and mid-range coverage for a child's toy. I am really impressed with the quality of this product for the price. I just wish there was better instruction on how to make the user installed mp3 files.

I bought this a couple weeks ago to play lullabies and songs in my young baby's room with an eye to him being able to interact with it himself as a toddler. I originally wanted a Baby Bidou, but those have been out of stock everywhere for a while, and I decided on this over the SweetPea after seeing mixed reviews on the newest model.So far, I'm quite happy with it! The speaker sounds way better than I expected - better than my laptop speakers. It feels sturdy, and the included songs and stories are nicely recorded. I forgot how, er, grim, traditional fairy tales can be - the wolf actually eats the first two pigs, etc. The songs are fun and my almost 3 month baby already smiles when I start playing them, and it's reminded me of some standards to sing to him. However, the buttons take a second to respond, which made me worry that it wasn't working at first - after turning it on or pressing something, wait a bit before you assume nothing is happening.Adding my own mp3s was straightforward: three buttons buttons basically set the bunny to play from one of three folders of an internal USB drive (a folder for CUSTOM, a book for STORY, notes for MUSIC). I backed up the mp3s it came with onto my computer so I could put others on without having to cycle through everything. I am sometimes not sure how to split things among the three folders that are available, but I think for interface simplicity 3 folders are reasonable - that's just a sign of all the different things (white noise, the included songs, a CD of lullabies I converted to mp3, an mp3 audiobook) i'm currently interested in using it for.I haven't tried the microphone recording yet.Last concerns: I'm a bit worried about how loud this can get when a toddler is controlling it. There's no way to set a volume limit. Also, it says in the instructions not to charge it for more than 6 hours, which I guess means I shouldn't just leave it plugged in all the time when not using it.

I don't normally write reviews but I think this product is worth it!I have spent the last two months looking for a children's MP3 player and just wish I came across this one sooner. I bought it for my 3 1/2 year old daughter who loves music and being able to access her music when she is playing in her room. I had a CD player for her but it has it's limitations. This player is PERFECT in everyway so far and she LOVES it!Details:It came in it's own box and was larger than I expected it to be, but in a good way. My initial impression was that it was very cute and I only continued to fall in love with this little thing more and more. The battery seems to be very good as I charge it initially and my daughter is able to play it ALL DAY! The fact that you can charge it, is not the only feature that sets it apart from other children's players! The buttons are easy for her to learn and the whole bunny is able to sit on her table, cordless, and sturdy. The ears light up (if you want) and my daughter is just tickled with bending them, as they are flexible silicon. The sound quality is great, and I mean it can get very loud but keep very good quality. If I could, I would use this bunny as speakers for my computer. My daughter also loves all the songs and stories that came with it. Some of the songs are very catchy and they included so many that I almost didn't even add any of our own music, but I did since that is why I wanted an MP3 player for her. It was relatively easy to do as well.My only complaint is that the instructions are in poor English, but they actually made me laugh a bit when I was trying to get the bunny all set up. For example it said things like "short-press" the button, which I imagine is supposed to mean "quickly" and "tells stories as interesting as mom", which is probably a reference to the recording function where you can record a long story and it will save multiple recordings for playback. It would also be nice if it didn't have to be laid on its side to charge, but no biggy.Overall, the price is more than I wanted to spend on a kids MP3, but this has exceeded my expectations. If I had more cash in my pocket, I would buy this for all my friends' preschool aged/young kids as gifts. If anything changes, I will update my review, but so far so good!! This thing was great, but only for 6 months. It held its charge reasonably well (although I never timed it), it's easy to record your voice on it, and my only complaint was that the charging port is on the bottom (so the bunny can't stand up while charging).After 6 months, the charging port has completely STOPPED working (I can only get it to charge if I hold it in really tightly and wiggle it to find the right spot). And the power/volume knob has become all loose and difficult to turn. We used it every night, but we also only used at night - my toddler was not carrying it around through the day. Which means that I now have a one-year-old who is upset that his music/nightlight is not working at night for him to fall asleep and I don't want to invest that much money again to replace it after only 6 months. POORLY MADE.

Great product. But I have got French version... Which I want to replace with English one

Der Hase ist wirklich total süß. Und der Klang hält auch was er verspricht.Aber leider ist bei uns ein spanischer Hase eingezogen ohne unser Wissen da nirgendwo ein Hinweis war. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht da man die vorhandenen Geschichten und Lieder nicht verstehen kann.Auf Nachfrage wurde von Amazon erklärt es gäbe diesen Hasen hier auch nur in der spanischen Version.

El muñeco es genial, pero este proveedor no tiene las canciones que se indica en la descripción del producto, todas ellas están en francés, al igual que los cuentos y las instrucciones. He tenido que solicitar la devolución y buscarlo en una tienda.

Je suis très déçue de cet achat. Visiblement, je ne me suis pas méfiée: il était en vente en Anglais. Soit. je vais pour le brancher enfin d'ajouter un contenu en Anglais, IMPOSSIBLE!!! Il faut savoir que c’est le troisième article que j’achète sur Amazon qui fonctionne mal, pour le même type de produit. Je risque de me retrouver à Noël sans cadeau pour ma fille...:( Je tiens tout de même à signaler que je n'ai pas autant de soucis d'habitude avec les produits amazon, cela doit être la loi des séries!

Super Lapin.Il y a trois dossiers sur la carte sd : un avec chasons de Henri Dès, un avec deux contes et un vide à personnaliser.Pour ma part, j'ai gardé les chansons Henri Dès et rajouté d'autres enfantines d'une autre langue, viré les contes pour y mettre une playlist de chansons d'adultes calmes pour endormir bébé et ajouté dans le dossier vide une playlist de chansons qui bougent ... et cela est accessible par 3 boutons différents sur le lapin.Sons génial, volume ok, et en mode veilleuse ou pas.Très contente ...
