I like the thinness and texture of this keyboard cover. The material won't warp/stretch and and doesn't have the rubbery feeling of silicone that can stick to the keys and almost create a grease bubble appearance where it sticks. The fit is pretty exact. At first I thought it was the wrong size because it doesn't cover the touch bar like my old cover did, but I looked more closely at the photos in the listing and realized that this one isn't meant to cover the touch bar. For this price, I can certainly live with that.

They drop right on the keyboard and fit the keys perfectly. They are smooth and extremely clear. Unlike the silicon style covers that are sticky and create annoying air pockets on the keys that make your keyboard look dirty the GhostCovers can barely be seen. They will eventually get a slight color to them as they stain, but they are washable and for the price I simply replace them. Because they are not sticky they can "fall off" they keyboard. If you turn the computer upside down or use compressed air nearby they will come off, however this is not a negative on them, but simply be aware of this. They are fantastic on all MacBook models and I've been using them as long as I can remember.

I have been recommending this product to everyone I know as they are searching for something similar. It is a perfect fit, and it does not slip off - secure fitting. It keeps my keys clean, and it is a good buy.

5 YEAR UPDATE: First keyboard cover lasted over 5 years before it started to wear out and tear in a few places. Very thankful to see that this is still available. Just got my new cover and it fits perfectly just as before, and my laptop keyboard is once again protected :-) Very thankful for this product! I see that my original review removed a star for the hard plastic camera cover that was bundled with the keyboard cover, the first time I bought it. I stand by that. Do not use the hard plastic camera cover if that is offered with this in the future. It could crack your screen. But the keyboard skin is excellent! Definitely buy that. Five stars for that alone, but minus one for the plastic camera cover that used to ship with this! ----------------- So far so good for the keyboard skin. Fits well! Keep in mind that part of how these laptops cool down, is through the ventilation between the keys. So if your computer starts running hot, remove the skin for a while. That's not specific to this keyboard skin, that will apply to any keyboard skin on newer Mac laptops. I originally liked the camera covers. I received a large and a small, Plus a cleaning cloth. Look carefully for these in the packaging. They're easy to miss! I'm knocking off a star, because although I like the camera covers, they should not be used on a laptop! Do not use this on your laptop! It creates a pressure point, and I read lots of stories online about people who ended up with screen damage from similar camera covers. I noticed the laptop (MacBook Pro 2020) was not closing all the way when the camera cover was attached, and I could hear and feel the plastic camera cover making contact with the bottom edge of the laptop when I tried to close the lid. That made me nervous so it's been removed. If you have a desktop computer and need a camera cover it would be great for that! But don't use it on a laptop. You could damage your screen if the camera cover sticks out enough to put pressure on the glass every time your laptop is closed. Other than that, I'm happy with all the items!

I have had man other keyboard covers, but this is the most accurate and handy one of all.........I do not notice it is on my computer ad it protects my laptop from a big splash of water (I lost my previous Mac Book) that way, now I am covered.......it is so handy to take into the bathroom and listen there.....

I have used silicone keyboard covers for years. They warp and wear out in less than a week if you can type 70wpm. This cover is a different technology (polyurethane rather than silicone). It's much better. It stays snug to the keyboard no matter how fast you type. It doesn't warp and stick up on the side to let tea in. Definitely recommend.

Although it provides protection to the keyboard but you can’t have it on while typing as this keyboard cover makes it impossible to type. It’s pretty light and thin but it is not flexible with respect to feeling the keys. I normally type 80 wpm but only 40 wpm with this keyboard cover on. Thats half the speed I normally type. I guess I’ll use it while I’m not using my laptop… to protect the keyboard which defeats the purpose of why I initially bought it for. This cover deserves a solid 3.

My old keyboard cover would leave traces on the screen making it dirty and would stick to the monitor screen. This one stays put and seems like it oil resistant! Will be purchasing again!!

I received this Keyboard Cover this morning. It is exactly as described and fits the keyboard perfectly. The sheerness makes it easy to see the characters on the keyboard. The only area it doesn't cover is the top row - lit up character area with the sound key, lock key, happy face key etc. It does cover the Escape Key. This does act to preserve your keyboard in good condition, protecting it from dust, dirt and germs. I think I paid much more for my previous keyboard protector. Also included in the package is cleaning cloth. The only thing I would suggest is to purchase a quality screen protector as well for your "MacBook Pro" monitor. If you don't, when you close your computer down, the keyboard cover can cause damage to the screen. I noted this problem with my last MacBook Pro, as I didn't have an Apple Screen Protector. (The outline of the keys from the keyboard protector ended up with the mirror effect on my monitor, which reduced the trade-in value of my old computer to almost "zero"). The Screen Protector will protect your monitor as well, protecting the monitor from scratches and keeping it clean. It also protects against Blue Light. I would also suggest it might be an additional idea, to remove the Keyboard Cover at night, before you shut your computer down. This would help to protect the keyboard images from doing a mirror reflection on your monitor. I would recommend this product for cost and and to protect your computer keys.

Just wanted sth to cover my keyboard and it comes with the cleaner cloth. Fits just perfectly! Loved it.

Love this keyboard cover. It doesn't feel soft and rubbery like some do. And it doesn't hold the oil of my fingertips and smudge. Just provides protection. I am really impressed. It's very thin but not flimsy. The only thing I don't like is the way it changes the black keys on my MacBook Pro to light grey or silver. I looks great with the space grey casing but I wanted it to stay black. But honestly it doesn't bother me enough to take a star away. It fits right to the keys with no extra space so the cover doesn't slide at all. If you use your laptop on an angle you might want to tape it down but I like to remove keyboards and wash them with warm soapy water and a sponge to get all the germs out. This fits the bill nicely. Plus I love that the keys are protected from fingerprints and excess oil. And let's face it droplets of water because I drink while I work on my laptop. Great buy. Will definitely buy again if this wears out but it feels pretty good quality I don't think I've have to worry for a couple of years.
