Effective against Malware

I used Norton for decades but when they decided to force me to subscribe for automatic updates I looked for something else. Malwarebytes was recommended to me so I decided to give it a try. Right off the bat it was way easier to install than Norton. It seems to be working as it should without any hiccups. Time will tell if this is a good replacement.

Good Virus Protection
I have an older PC with Windows 7 on it. As you can imagine with its obsolescence, less companies are apt to support any kind of software on it. I had McAfee but they stopped coverage 1-2 years ago. I previously had the free version of Malwarebytes, and it worked well but it was passive protection. I wanted an active version of virus protection, so I upgraded to their Premium version. I chose the license key option, and after creating an account, the installation was a breeze. It's easy to set up and doesn't hog resources as it's running. I'm also going to download this on my laptop with Windows 11.

This particular item is a 2023 version of Malwarebytes Premium; many improvements since then.

Worth The Money
Purchasing MalwareBytes Premium software that is licensed for 5 devices cost less on Amazon than if you purchased the same product directly from MalwareBytes. You will need to open a MalwareBytes account if you don't have one already. From within your account register the license. And that is it. You will be able to add and delete devices at will on their site. When it comes time for renewal get the new license from Amazon if MalwareBytes doesn't give you a good renewal deal. It does what it is suppose to do, gives your devices protection for all kinds of threats. Go to their site for complete details.

To all APPLE USERS -- this purchase is NOT WORTH it for an iPad or an iPhone!
I am an APPLE User, and I own 3 DEVICES (Mac Book Pro, and iPad and iPhone) This Review in in context to my purchase of "Malwarebytes Premium" 4.5 Latest Version 2022 Antivirus Software | 5 Device 1 Year. When I downloaded and INSTALLED the Malwarebytes Premium APP on my iPhone and on my iPAD. The ONY protection offered is by way of an ADD BLOCKER EXTENSION for (that is to be installed on) SAFARI BROWSER. I use Google Chrome as my preferred browser. On the MAC BOOK PRO you get the MALWAREBYTES PROTECTION you are paying for. BUT I WOULD NEVER AGAIN pay for 3 devices, nor 5 devices --- when I only NEED MALWAREBYTES PREMIUM PROTECTION for just "1 device" and only one device !!!!! When I purchased my prior "Malwarebytes Premium Subscription" for three devices, for 3 years -- I did have an ANDROID PHONE in the mix with my APPLE iPad and Mac Book Pro. THIS AMAZON PURCHASE WAS AN EPIC FAIL, for a non-refundable purchase!!

Very good product, have used back when one could get free lifetime subscriptions!
Hell of a product. Mandatory for boxes I work as it's very effective and catches different types of viruses however, I still use A/V kinda the belt/suspenders approach in addition to some flavor of UTM box if possible.
