I would recommend this!
It tastes great! I bought it because I wanted that authentic really thick, Italian chocolate, and this is it.I tried it on my aunt and uncle, who then bought some themselves. I took it to my partners parents for christmas, and they wanted a tub. Think that says it all really

Italian hot chocolate at its best
Having just been to Italy and had their hot chocolate, I wondered if I could find similar in the UK. And this is it. Gorgeous.

Tastes good 👍🏻
After seeing a video online about these style of hot chocolate, I really wanted to have a go and found this tub. It took a couple of goes to get it right but the end result was a lovely thick, hot chocolate pudding in a cup... Very nice ☺️

Has the essence of Italian hot chocolate but unpleasant after-taste
Having just returned from Italy, where I enjoyed the thick, dark hot chocolate, I was excited to find this, a seemingly good value large pack. It does look and taste something like the product I enjoyed in Italy but I found I had an unpleasant after-taste that persisted long after drinking this product. For some reason, there is salt in this which I think is one aspect of the after-taste.There is quite a low cocoa content but lots of sugar and corn starch although the prepared drink is quite dark and not over-sweet. By the way, it doesn’t get properly thick in a Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser as it really needs to boil to get the full effect and was really unpleasant prepared in a Velvetiser. The tin says to use 100-120ml of milk and 25g of powder. That makes a drink almost like a pudding - it was nicer with more milk added to the boiled mixture.Overall, I’m disappointed and suspect I may end up throwing most of it away. The Italian style hot chocolate has its attractions but a powder based product like this doesn’t hold a candle to a drink prepared with dark chocolate flakes, such as from Hotel Chocolat or Cupsmith.

Great Italian hot chocolate!
The media could not be loaded. The best Italian hot chocolate, I have had outside of Italy! Smooth, thick and comforting. Would make cold nights a little more bearable and still be a great indulge in the warmer days too. Can be made in the microwave but I prefer to make it on the hob, which makes it easier to vary the thickness. Delivery was prompt.

Bought this to use in my velvetiser. Lovely and rich and not too sweet.

Badly dented tins
Both tins I ordered arrived badly dented. Strangely the boxes seem fine, which means they were picked out damaged, which is poor customer service. For some reason Amazon says I cannot return the product. As these were for gifts, it's annoying. 50 percent sugar. Top ingredient, then corn starch then cocoa powder. Tastes nice, but mostly sugar. Not high quality
