I bought this to install on all my windows. I would say it took me about 90 mins off and on to get the “bubbles” and the “windex residue” from underneath on one of the windows. I do like the mirror effect and semi privacy this provides. If you are OCD please be prepared to keep at it, the product itself was easy to apply and cut to size. I did read on one of the reviews to buy an applicator package which I plan to utilize for the rest of my window installation.UPDATE: I used the GILA window film application solution to re-apply the film on the window and it worked much better than any other solution. And it only took me a total of 10minutes per window.

Just okay. Although I like the smoke look you can see out but not in for those neighbors to see you. . It was awful to prepare the cut to size. Also I ordered extra footage thinking it would be solid consistent roll to cut as I need but NO. When you reached a yard or so it ended and had to start with a new piece. I need A solid one piece not pieces. So I was not able to complete a longer window. For that reason It Did not work out for me. A lot of waste also that you can’t use those remaining pieces. That’s not what I wanted and would not recommend nor buy again.

This product provides no privacy. The mirror effect is non-existent. People can see straight into the room through the film, so it is worthless. I tested it during the day and at night with the same results. Although, the film does provide some window darkening, that isn't why I paid almost $22 for this product. I wanted what was advertised, which was one-way privacy mirror. Step #8 of the instructions says to contact them with any questions or concerns and they will "get back to you ASAP," but no place is there a phone number or an email address. I think that is on purpose. I feel like I got scammed.

Goes on exactly as instructions say. Takes a week or two for all residual water to evaporate through the film and get a smooth mirror like surface. Since it uses NO adhesive, it is easy to remove and won't invalidate any window warrantees. A quality squeegee, but rubber and hard plastic will be required to remove air/water bubbles.

It was relatively easy to install. I have 100 year old windows so they are not exactly level and perfect. When I put the film on it looks like mercury glass which is cool. You can’t see in. In the pictures you can see that I only put it on the bottom portion of the window because that was the easiest. I wanted it to protect my couch from fading. I think it is helping with the suns rays. I will say the packaging was awful. Hard to get out of the tube. Haven’t taken off so can’t speak to that but don’t think it will be a problem.

Good product and does exactly as designed. Be careful because it could diminish the natural light more than you want. Will definitely cut glare but it’s like looking thru light sunglasses. You can see thru it during the day and night. Not for privacy. I’ve used this product before and was very satisfied. Be sure and buy the Gila install kit. Makes all the difference in final outcome. Would also recommend two people to install but if your determined one person can do it.

I put this on my roof windows. When we first got the windows many years ago I didn't know you can get them with blinds inside the window, so for years I used curtain rods with either curtains or cloth material to keep out the sun/ heat. my neighbor put some on her windows facing east and said they helped a lot, well what a difference! I noticed immediately how it keeps the heat out and the sun and the rooms look so nice with the light that comes thru. I am so glad I purchased. The backing comes off easily and its easy to apply, just make sure you measure correctly and then spray away and squeegee and you're done! trim if necessary .

This product does what it’s described too. But it’s really hard to get the line straight by cutting with scissors. Then using an exact-o proves challenging once its applied. It comes in a roll to cut to size. If you are super detail oriented it will likely bother you. Once it’s on and you use exacto knife that debris gets under the film. It’s alright, but I will look for pre-cut strips cause it would brother me.
