One of the Best Barefoot Shoes - Literally Feels like a Glove
The Vapor Glove is an excellent shoe and is great if you want to get into the barefoot style. I started with the Vapor Glove 4 and have had two pairs (monument and black). I also have the Vapor Glove 5 (burgundy) and 6 (black). They are so lightweight and really fit like gloves. The fours and sixes are my favorites, and I highly recommend both. The four was my first barefoot shoe, and the adjustment was not bad. The adjustment will vary from person to person, but it is worth it as there are so many benefits. From an appearance standpoint - not to give away my age, but no-see-them socks and ankle socks are best - the higher socks will probably look pretty weird with how low the shoe sits around your ankle. As for comfort, they are so very comfortable. You almost forget that you have a shoe on. The wider toe box is really great because it gives your toes and feet room, unlike regular shoes that can be too narrow. Do you have to kind of get over how they look compared to the "stylish" shoes? Probably- but that is so easy to do once you wear them and realize their awesomeness. The zero drop has really helped - more like corrected - my stride and alignment, and it is neat to see over time by comparing where the wear and tear is on the bottom between different pairs of shoes. The sole is thin, so you don't get the cushion like in a traditional shoe, but that is one of the points of barefoot shoes. It allows you to move and get grounding that you miss otherwise. The only downside to the thinness is that it can hurt when you step on certain things - it's really only when it's something that sticks up relative to the rest of the area (for example, a sharp rock/pebble). The weight and flexibility of the shoe is a huge bonus. For one, not having to lug around a heavy shoe (on or off your feet) is great, plus it makes traveling with them very easy; they take up little to no space (you can technically bend/fold them up, but I prefer not to). To quality, I think these are made really well. Vibram makes the sole - it is sturdy, lightweight, and environmentally conscious. With time and level of usage, you can wear down the sole - like literally blow a hole through the bottom - but a lot of factors can contribute to that. For example, this happened with the first pair I had. It was my first barefoot shoe; my gate, alignment, pressure, stride, etc., was all off and rubbed through (it still took a while); however, the second pair is still in great shape with similar time and usage, maybe even more. All in all, I highly recommend these shoes! They look better than some other barefoot shoes, are made well, feel great, and are really great for you.

Great shoes
I bought these shoes in a size 5 in the green color. They fit perfectly, so I'd say they are true to size. They do have a somewhat wide toe box, but I'm okay with that. The only thing missing is that they don't glow in the dark. (You'd think they would by looking at them. They are super bright.) I absolutely love these shoes. They are really comfortable. They are a 'barefoot' style shoe, but they are better than barefoot. They do offer some protection to the bottom of your foot, and the best part is, they actually hug the arch & I can wear them all day without my feet hurting. Just wearing them indoors, they are fairly warm. However, if you walk outside on cold ground (or sidewalk) for a while, you will definitely feel the cold. I assume you'd probably feel the heat pretty good, too, but I haven't tried that yet, since it's February in TX. (Give it about 2 weeks & it will probably be scorching enough out there for me to test that theory.) These are shoes that I actually enjoy wearing. The laces are stretchy, which I like. The only complaint I have is that the laces are too long. They hang off to the floor even when I loop them large to minimize the dragging. I may eventually change out the laces, but that's pretty minor. The shoes are nearly perfect for me.

Lightweight, roomy, comfy, great quality
Love these! They have been one of my main go-to’s since I switched to xero-drop barefoot type shoes a couple of years ago. I purchased these after my pinky toe got caught on a root while hiking in my vibrams (ouch!) just as a stand-in for hiking on more rustic trails. Now I wear them all the time, when I can’t actually be barefoot that is. They have helped tremendously with plantar fasciitis (slowly but surely). They are nice and roomy for toe splay and I can even wear my toe separators pretty comfortably in them. They are super flexible and lightweight and are easy to slip on and off. I normally wear an 8.5 (USA) and the 8.5 in these fit perfectly. I have had the purple ones for over a year and they have held up wonderfully. Am about to purchase a grey pair.

Feels like Merrell has gone cheap
These low profile "shoes" are closer to socks than workout shoes. While the stitching and fabric is good, I need support for aerobic workouts, but there is none with these.

Perfect SUMMER Hiking Shoe
I absolutely LOVED the first version of this shoe that I ordered from amazon. They stuck it out with me for over 6 years of consistent use on hikes with trails of varying roughness. They almost felt like I wasn't wearing shoes, which was perfect for my barefoot soul. The fact that they were extremely lightweight and the breathable fabric spoiled me so much that no other shoes would come close to comparing on my hikes. When they started getting holes, I looked on Amazon to purchase a replacement, and they were no longer available. So I ended up wearing them with growing holes for quite some time (I know my hoodie in the picture has holes in it too...but its my fave & perfect for hiking lol). I only ended up throwing them away when a huge hole in the thinning sole happened after a hike one day. Now that I was forced to find a replacement, I got back on Amazon and ordered these ones. I have pretty wide feet so I ordered a half size up (even though I probably should have ordered the same size again), and these shoes are a great fit even though they don't sell them in a wide width. I deducted a star because when I go for a good distance I get a blister in these shoes; never had that happen with the other pair. Otherwise, they're very comfortable and I imagine they would do well in water as well.

Wear we going?
This shoes are next best thing to walking barefoot. Something that I do majority of the day. Although not so stylish they are comfortable and lightweight.

No complaints.
Love these shoes. I found them very true to size. This was my 2nd barefoot type shoe. The sole is a little bit thinner than my previous merrels so depending on where you are walking it can be a little uncomfortable. I wear them every day for work. 6months in and no wear n tear visible so I’m happy.

So comfortable and light. Closest thing to barefoot but still protect your feet.
