Company was accommodating for a problem not their own
Due to a shipping issue with Amazon fulfillment, I didn't receive this right away. The company was very accommodating and helped me get the fitting in a timely manner. I appreciate that! It works perfectly for the application that I needed it to, saving me lots of time. It is set up to feed the automatic humidifier inside of my quail hatching setup. It is a solid, well built item that should hold up in the rigors I plan to put it through!

Exactly what it says in the tin
It does exactly what it says on the tin: steps down a 3/8” tube to a 1/4” tube. It’s easy to push both sides into the hose, and forms a good seal. Would buy again.

Works well.
I was told by a mechanic that the plastic reducers are better than the brass ones.

Item not as described
I ordered the barbed Reducer 1/4" to 5/32". Received the right sizing, but the barb was only at the tip. I had to use a clamp to keep it from leaking. It was used on an RO water system where I had replaced the original diverter with one of my preference. The tubing on the RO system was 1/4" tubing with 5/32" ID. The diverter required a 1/4" ID. The clamp is mostly needed on the input line and not the discharge brine line due to water pressure feeding the line that leads to output of RO water. .Luckily, I already had the proper fitting clamps.

Measurements incorrect
It's too small on the 3/8" and too big on the 1/4" side. It resembles the photos which seems to be better than the experience of some of the other 1-star reviews. Attached photo shows tubing connected which is the specified ID's: 3/8" and 1/4". On the 3/8" side it's so loose that water is leaking out past all 3 sets of barbs, and on the 1/4" side I had to hold the hose in boiling water and then work very hard to get it only partially onto the fitting.
