Bright
A little too bright. It had no current limiting resistor and draws 2.2 amps on high. I added a resistor to lower it to 1.5amps. Still plenty bright, runs cooler and for longer. It had 2 18650 cells that tested to be 1100mAh each. I removed those and added a single 26650 cell at 5000mAh. Also added a mini usb charge circuit. Thanks.

Compact, very lightweight, and extremely bright on high, but the magnet is too weak.
I really like this LED camping lantern. It is compact, very lightweight, and extremely bright (can’t directly look at it on high). My main complaint is that the magnet on my lantern is not strong enough to support the weight of the lantern if you attempt to side-mount it on a car panel, refrigerator, etc (it slides down to the floor). The magnet barely holds the light if it is mounted by placing it underneath a steel object. I notified the seller about the weakness of the magnet, and they promptly sent me another light for free. Unfortunately, the magnet is even a little bit weaker on the replacement. I plan to purchase stronger magnets and fix the lights myself. I have not yet tested the runtime on the lanterns, but will be soon.
