This book was an absolute godsend.It put names to the behaviors, and hurts, I experienced from my loved ones.Because of it, I felt like I was not alone in the emotional abuse I experienced, and that I too could overcome and get out of a toxic relationship.I recommend the audio book too, as read by the author. The author actually adds additional insights that are not on the written page. Keep in mind though, that there is a quiz in the book that is harder to do from the audio version. - I recommend you listen and read it together at the same time.Depending on when, and if, you read this, there might be a few cultural references that may be out of date; but the behavioral analysis, and psychological insights are timeless.

This book really shows me that I'm not crazy. I love that it explains what's going on for the person with BPD, and then goes into different techniques to try to stay grounded in your own reality and not escalate for your loved one with BPD. It was like going to a self help meeting the first few chapters talking about experiences and I must have said "OMG me too" at least a dozen times. That helped me alot.

Stop Walking on Eggshells offers exceptional insight into the complex dynamics of narcissism and mental health. Intensely researched and thoughtfully written, it opens a window into the victim-narcissist relationship. This book not only deepens understanding of human behavior, but also provides empowering tools to reclaim personal peace. It helped me immensely. Stories are real and heartfelt.

I can see how this would be a pretty helpful book. It is full of specific examples and seems to be humanely conceived and presented. However, I only read about a third or a half of it, because I discerned at a certain point that it was only so relevant to persons in my life.

This book really helped me in a healing journey about some of my loved ones. I feel as if someone had taken a scan of my soul and then written a book about the experience. My sincerest gratitude to Mason and Keefer.I would add two pieces from the last two chapters in the intro: 1) don't go about labelling the BPD person in your life as BPD. It may come across as a smearing camping even if you are just talking about your insights from the book. 2) learning to forgive yourself and the person with BPD is vital for your healing.Withe latter piece, forgiveness, I felt this book played a vital part. The authors helped me understand why the BPD people in my life act the way they do and why they refuse help. It does not excuse their behavior, but it makes sense now that I can step in in their world a bit.If you want to read this, i strongly encourage you to take it in slowly. I tried reading three chapters a day, but it was so triggering that I had to put the book down. I assure you, the wait is worth the effort.

This book helps ypu identify the toxic people in your life and what to do about it. Well written and easy to understand without being too overwhelming. Highly recommend!
