I needed something to clamp on my drum set bars which are 1.75" and this fit perfectly, seems well made and I was able to tighten it down with no problem. Has good grip to hold it in place.

I mostly use these with GoPros and sometimes also with a large smart phone. The large jaws are way more versatile than the more expensive RAM version which I also own, and it also grips better to most things than the RAM version. I liked my first one so much I bought a second. Currently they are unavailable which is a real shame because I'd like to buy a third.

Using this to hold my GoPro on my boat windshield so you can imagine it is tested to its limits. The bar I am mounting it on is pencil thick and this is still holding better then I had hopes. I get no movement while under way and it is easily adjustable too.I plan to get another one for my car.

Even tho I can still move it with my hand at its tightest, it seems to be strong enough to stay in place while riding. It's not the best but it'll do

My new Jeep grab bar did not have the older style screws that could be used for mounting a phone. This clamp worked perfectly and was a great solution for the base of my phone mount! (I did put material under the clamp just so it would not leave grooves in the leather, but it still held well!)

The claw mount grips onto a roll cage extremely tightly. I can 6 races in one weekend and it didn't budge. Very easy to adjust and move to ideal position. Highly recommended
