YES it’s expensive for a razor, but in my opinion worth the money. If you buy the version with the travel case you get the magnetic stand and a travel case that can be plugged into a USB to charge it.The blades are bigger and feel a lot sharper than other Gillete blades. On first use I set it to high heat by holding the power button in until the light changes from dim orange to bright orange. Shaved as normal, stuck it in the water before I started and was surprised by the heat it produced when I started to shave. The highest heat setting isn’t too hot for the face and gives a great feel when shaving. The heat helps the razor glide over the face by softening whatever is on the bar and the cream on your face. The heat feels great and the razor has a blade on the back for under the chin and nose.They say a charge lasts 20 minutes but even after not shaving for a week the battery did not fail, I had heat through the extended shave and the blade dealt with the longer hair without a problem. Charging isn’t a hassle either as your not going to have one shave directly after another so I just stick it on the charger and forget about it. The travel case comes in very handy if you do travel, it keeps the razor fully enclosed and protected. To charge just sit the razor in the case close the lid and the charging light on top will come on. (When connected to a usb power source) I just use a phone power bank and that works fine.I was in the forces for a LONG time and hated shaving in tepid water first thing in the morning in the middles of a freezing wood. This razor would be very handy for forces personnel who know what I’m talking about, stops the cold on your face and skin going very dry when doing this for weeks. Could be easily charged vis a vehicle power outlet or power bank. The soldiers amounts you will appreciate it.All in a great versatile product.

I’ve seen this set for about £200 , though it is sometimes available for less. I got it for £90 on prime day and it’s a great razor. I let my beard grow out fromtime to time and generally get irritation when I shave it off because of sensitive skin. This shaver went through my beard like a hot knife through butter. It makes shaving a more pleasant experience. It’s a luxury for sure, but great for sensitive skin.

Cost over £100 now have the orange flashing lights no reset feature.after research this is a very common problem with this razor! Out of warranty so its going in the bin . Never again will I buy a product from Gillette. Shame as its a really great shave..

I thought that I would try this razor as I have very sensitive skin and have found that hot towel shaves have helped in the past.The Razor arrived in a very sleek, stylish and weighty box which gives it a lasting first impression. The razor it’s self appears sleek and modern, with a high quality look and feel. It’s weight is well balanced and it feels nice to hold in your hand and use.To charge the razor there is a solid disk base on which the razor stands attached by a magnet. It’s simple, clever wireless design give you the impression that the razor is floating.The razor has different heat settings to provide a comfortable level of heat. The heat seems to open the pores and provide a more pleasant shaving experience. The head smoothly swivels to adapt to the contours of your face providing a close shave.I feel that this razor has given me a shave similar to a hot towel shave in a barbers, it seems to have been gentle on my sensitive skin and has caused less irritation.I feel that the cost of the razor is quite high and the cost of replacement blades is excessive however, I feel that the benefits this has given me with my sensitive skin out weighs that cost. I would recommend this razor particularly to those with sensitive skin.
