Most cornflakes are made using a process that removes the kernel (which contains most of the nutrients), and they usually have lots of added sugar. However, Lima Organic Cornflakes are made using a much simpler process, as described below: How these cornflakes are made Organic corn is selected, washed and cooked with a pinch of sea salt. The cooked corn is left to rest a while so that the water content can spread evenly. The grains of corn are then preheated and passed through two rollers, which makes them into flakes.
