Update: after months of heavy use, still going strong. Actually bought a second one I loved it so much. I can’t emphasize enough how much I love this helmet. I cannot and WILL NOT work without it. Especially cutting or doing demos.There is no pain or discomfort like when you wear other respirator masks.I can see myself needing to repurchase the helmet in a year or two with how much I use mine. But again well worth the money.I have been tiling for over 10 years. I wish I bought this 10 years ago. Working in Florida makes wearing goggles almost impossible, you will fog up your goggles instantly.This though, has never fogged up. Highly recommend buying the plastic protection if you do indeed do tile work.Provides cool air, lasts for well over 8 hours straight.I will never work without this helmet ever again. Also I thought I would get made fun of for wearing this but instead people have been saying it is awesome and they want one. I have been called bubble boy and space man.

I use this helmet with the Versaflo 300 series and it's way better than the cloth shield they give you. Be sure to check your packaging for the face shield scratch cover and apply it before you do anything else - it'll protect the costly visor from scratches/scuffs (especially important when you're doing woodworking and other tasks) and ultimately increase the life-span of the helmet. It's lightweight and balanced, I can easily wear it for 3-4 hours at a time without feeling any fatigue. The back strap tightens with a dial and holds it securely onto your head.If you're a wood worker, being able to have full vision (especially with glasses) and without a respiratory dust mask tightened incredibly tight around your head, the cost of this helmet and the Versaflo system is well worth the value. You also protect your eyes from dust which has reduced my eye redness and dryness completely compared to when I was just using a normal respiratory mask.That said, I do believe this could be sold for much less as the construction is simple, and other similar products are at a much lower price point.

This functions great, I used a cheaper PAPR pump for this and 3D printed a fitting that connects the helmet to 20mm NATO gas mask threads. Works like a charm and is perfect for my bladesmithing.

Very comfortable and made the wearing of this unit more comfortable than the hood.

Air still entered from outside air and I will only ware disposable headgear again. It goes down past your neck and I think it will keep air out.

Great fit and tight seal around the jaw line, which provides a sense of security every time I use it to see a patient. I especially like that the ears aren’t covered which makes communicating a lot easier
