High quality with an excellent book guide and detailed classic Tarot images
What you get is a nice box set of Classic Tarot cards, a well written book (255 pp of value) and the box is something you'll like keep because it is well made and holds everything neatly. The cards measure 4 1/2 inches long by 2 1/2 inches wide. The cards are colorful front and back and sturdy for years of heavy use. One of the highlights of this set is the images, they are clear and more detailed / clearer details then the traditional Rider-Waite Tarot. I have seven or more sets of Tarot cards and am a new reader (mostly for myself) and these are my favorites. I do have the RWT set and use it when the mood hits, but I love Llewelly's Classic Tarot. Let's talk about the book a bit. It has a chapter on Tarot basics including terms and a brief history. It also has chapters on the types of cards, how to read the cards and suggest reading for even more information. Know someone who's just getting into Tarot or is curious? This is the perfect set (some sets are just the cards and a tiny booklet). Know someone who's been at it for a while? This is the perfect gift because it will supplement whatever sets / books they have now. Highly recommended.

Rider Waite With Finesse!
Much more color and dimension than the drab standard, while staying true to the traditional images. Since most tarot literature is based on Rider Waite, this deck allows easy recognition of images. The backs of the cards are a lovely design perfect for upright and reversed readings. The thickness and finish of the cards are of excellent quality cardstock, making them easy to shuffle and pull. I consider the cards to be of standard size, allowing for easy handling and accommodation by the average off-the-rack tarot storage bag. The 255-page companion book provides suitable card meanings, rather large black/white pics of each card, practice readings and diagrams. The book is also sectioned in categories of Majors, Aces, chronological numbers, and by the four specific Court placements. I recommend applying small label tabs to each section for easy access. This truly is a beautiful and easy to use deck-- very pleased.

The absolute BEST deck & book for beginners
I love this Llewellyn Tarot set so much. It includes a deck and a large book. I began reading tarot earlier this year and struggled with intuiting the card meanings using other decks. We aren't supposed to just rote-memorize 78 card meanings but instead read the cards based on our intuition -- so having a deck with detailed and, frankly, obvious illustrations really helps. (At this point, I need cards whose illustrations really hit me over the head with "no doy" meanings.) This Llewellyn deck, which is so closely based on Pamela Coleman Smith's illustrations in the original Rider Waite deck, makes reading SO DARN INTUITIVE. The illustrations are immediately comprehensible upon first sight, and the large accompanying book explains every single symbol (!!) on each card, which I find essential to developing fluency in the tarot. I have many decks, but this one is my favorite, my go-to, because it's so easy to read. I've also bought this set for friends who are also getting into tarot, and they all agree that it's the best they've ever found for beginners. The illustrations are so good, so detailed, so obvious in their symbolism, and the book REALLY helps. Absolutely recommended! A++!

Perfect Mini Cards!
I wanted a mini deck for travel. These are the perfect size to throw in my purse. I'm 5ft... have small hands. I posted pics of size reference compared to my hands so these are good for me. Happy with these!

Great travel or purse sized deck
Excellent travel or purse-sized deck. Tarot decks can be bulky. The mini deck means you can always have one with you. I prefer the Llewellyn deck to the RWS for its clarity and better artwork. No slight to Pamela Coleman Smith, but her printing plates were destroyed in WWII, so the RWS decks since have been bad tracings of the originals. The Llewellyn is simply better looking & easier to read, even in the mini form.

Excellent imagery
First off, this deck is gorgeous. Moore and (Eugene) Smith's illustrations are expressive and approachable. I've been reading studying and reading tarot off and on for around 15 years, certainly not a life time of experience like many posters, but a fair amount of experience. I tend to use Rider-Waite inspired decks for the ease of transition and the commonality of the symbolism. This deck ups the ante with how it brings the symbols forward. Not only do we have more expressive scenes, but nothing feels overly static (whereas one of my old favorites, the Universal Rider-Waite deck seems frozen in its wispy colored pencil renderings). There is movement and energy in this deck's scenes. You feel as if you are happening upon a scene in progress and not a frozen image. The coloration helps to differentiate things within, leading to new (or clearer) observations. For example, I'm impressed with the 8 of Cups: in the sky like a constellation, another (phantom, ninth) cup hovers. Not part of the 8 of the card, this is the cup the person is setting off toward. Likewise, the 10 of Swords gives the hilts different colors--this feels as if it underscores the weight and plethora of tribulations that the prone figure may succumb to. In all, this is a delightful deck because it wants to be seen for all that it presents. Cons: As others have said, fliiiiimsy. This is apparently a defect with Llewellyn decks, they're on very thin cardstock and not coated in plastic or laminate. This makes for a short lifespan, I'm afraid.

In LOVE!
Despite ordering them for their size and measuring beforehand, I was still shocked to see how absolutely TINY they were. Nonetheless, I love their size, and I love the artwork. This will be my purse deck that I plan on using for a quick read when I'm out!

Great deck!
I absolutely love this deck. Colorful and easy to interpret; not so small that details are lost. Initially, I couldn't find the standard size deck, so I "settled" for this mini version. The standard size is supposedly out of print; however, it is still available new in Barbara Moore's "Tarot Made Easy" kit.

I love this deck. It is close enough to the R.W.S to be read with ease, but it is much prettier and colourful. I also appreciate the smaller size, which makes it much easier to shuffle. The companion book is also very well done.

I looked for quite a while before buying these as I wanted a deck that had pictures on all of the cards, as although we know the traditional meanings should on the whole be adhered to, I find with pictured cards it makes it easier to look at the cards and draw from your own intuition and build a story around them. The cards are of pretty good quality although the inner box witch the actual cards are kept in is quite flimsy so I would suggest to keep them in a tarot bag or pouch like I have. The cards are full of beautiful and rich colours and also the outer box they come in. All in all a lovely deck and would be easy to read for a beginner or for someone whos more accomplished at reading tarot as well.

It's a cute pack. Great when travelling when you don't want to take too much with you. Love it.
