This product is NOT unscented. This is very important to me because I keep bees and they attack me when I wear hairspray. The front of the bottle says "unscented". The ingredients include "fragrance" and it is a strong one. My bees agree!

White Rain is cost effective, has no scent, and really holds well. I have used it for a number of years now and really like it.

My husband loves this stuff! He says it's the best hair spray he's used. I actually bought it from a store in St. Thomas while on a cruise because I was desperate and needed some. When we got home, I gave it to him :-) He loves it! He said it doesn't leave his hair sticky like other hair sprays. I use other products that I'm not willing to switch from but if it keeps him happy, I'm happy! hahaI review many of the products I buy on Amazon. I paid full price for this item on Amazon. I only rate items 5 stars if I would pay full price for it or be willing to give them as a gift. I do give 1 star (since you can't give 0) to items which are so bad that I throw away or wouldn't want even if free. I try to mention all the pros and cons of products, because I check reviews often for the hundreds of items I buy online. I have no affiliation with this company or any company for products I review, and my reviews are always totally my own. I hope my time spent reviewing this item helps others in making their purchase decisions.

I forturnately am not balding though my hair that has become more fine as I am 79 now is thinning on top. So my barber keeps it long to give a better look. However it that blows around in the wind it is uncomfortable and can look pretty silly. So I spray White Rain on daily and it looks good from morning to night activities. It is among the most reasonable in cost and does a fine job of keeping me looking well groomed. And, my wife uses my White Rain often also to hold her fine hair in a soft curl and it works for her as well. My only objection is that the push spray on some jars can be quite stiff and she can find it difficult to squirt the spray.

This brand has been around forever. As you can see from the photograph that I uploaded, they sent me the incorrect product. The product in their photo is a pump spray bottle. They sent me an aerosol spray can. That's a good product. For a product that is labeled unscented, It sure has a strong scent.

I will say that if you need your air to stay in place all day this is the one you need. Holds hair in place and the strong hold lasts as long as you do not mess with your hair.
