Strong Enough For A Full Bore Leg Kick
This oil filter wrench is worth every cent. I needed to do my first oil change on my new to me 2013 Prius. Oil previously changed by the dealership. This filter wrench was a perfect snug fit. I was using 3/8 drive ratchet with the car up on jackstands and blocked. No matter how hard I pushed that filter cover would not budge. There was not enough room for a cheater. Well your leg muscles are stronger than your arm muscles… I grabbed a solid part of the under carriage and pushed, no go. So I gave the ratchet arm a couple of full bore kicks and finally the plastic cover started unscrewing. (I had a spare cover on hand in case I cracked the old one.)So first off the filter wrench/socket would not have stayed securely in place through all this if it hadn’t have been a perfect fit.Second I probably would have broken a cheap wrench/socket.Third it is a beautiful piece of equipment.I speak with about 30 years of industrial multi skill maintenance under my belt. I know the difference between junk and quality tools.

Top notch
Fits perfectly on my 2025 Lexus IS 350 RWD 3.5L (2GR FKS). Super high quality item, well packaged and will last a lifetime. Superior to the ones that grip the fingers on the filter housing.Input is 3/8” ratchet or you can use a 15/16” socket for more torque if needed. On my first use, my filter housing was torqued lightly to 25nm and had no trouble removing with a 3/8” ratchet.

Top Quality and Made In USA
The quality of the material and manufacture is tops. It fit tightly on my 2016 Toyota Camry oil filter housing, but came off with a little wiggling. It also works on external Honda oil filters, but might be slightly tight. Though the price is slightly higher than avg for this tool, it is well worth it if you are going to be doing your own oil changes for years to come.

Love It!
I recently picked up the Motivx Tools Oil Filter Wrench for my Toyota Tacoma, and I’m blown away by the quality of this thing! If you’re a DIYer or just someone who values tools that stand the test of time, this is a must-have.The build quality is absolutely phenomenal. It’s precision CNC-machined from high-grade aluminum—6061 T6 for the body and 7075 T6 for the drive hub—and you can feel the difference the moment you hold it. The gunmetal grey and red anodized finish isn’t just for looks (though it does look sharp); it adds a layer of durability that’s rare in tools these days. This wrench feels hefty and solid, not flimsy or cheap like some stamped steel alternatives I’ve tried. I’ve used it on a stubborn, overtightened filter housing, cranking it with a breaker bar, and it didn’t flex, strip, or show a single sign of wear—proof it’s built to handle serious torque.Functionally, it’s a dream. The 64mm 14-flute design fits my Tacoma’s cartridge-style filter perfectly, gripping securely without slipping or damaging the housing. The dual-drive options (3/8" ratchet or 24mm socket) make it versatile and easy to use, and knowing it’s made in the USA with a lifetime warranty just seals the deal. It’s compatible with a ton of Toyota models—Camry, Tundra, 4Runner, RAV4, you name it—so it’s a smart investment for any Toyota owner!

High-Quality and Perfect Fit
This oil filter wrench is a game changer! The 64mm size fits my Toyota 4Runner perfectly and grips securely without slipping. The aluminum build feels solid and durable. Makes oil changes quick and frustration-free. A must-have for Toyota owners!

Very well made, with three Toyotas, should last a lifetime
Very precision due to machined vs stamped manufacturing. Bought a socket vs trying to use square drive as aluminum is a little soft given rachet tools are usually rounded to start with.

Worked for Me
After breaking a generic filter wrench, I purchased the MotivX. The oil change shop torqued the filter housing on but good. The MotivX worked on the first try with a 3/8" socket wrench, 3" drive extension and 10" pipe for more leverage. The MotivX was snug to the metal filter housing with a tiny amount of play. It stayed in place by itself and came off with a little wiggle. The vehicle is a 2008 Sienna.
