Elmer's glue does what it says it will
Elmer's glue sticks are good value for the money as the glue dries quickly and holds the papers together. Other brands are not worth the money (as a teacher, I've tried many-some too sticky, some take too long to dry etc)

If you have ever used these glue sticks, then these are the same. Worked for what my project. They are the white ones so the glue dried clear.

Medium sized sticks - takes a good amount to adhere paper craft items
I guess these are decent. I was a little disappointed in the size of the sticks for the money (I bought a pack of four). I use these in crafting items to sell and it took a lot of glue (had to rub on a lot - about 4 full layers over the item) and then using numerous passes with a rubber hand roller to press things together well enough to get paper items to ahere well. The main plus is that a glue stick is a way to get smooth layers of glue so that I don't get lumps of too much glue. For me these are a 'just okay' value for the money. I hope the glue is durable and has longevity so the glue doesn't lose adherence over time but I won't know that for months and months as the glue ages. It does dry quickly and that's a plus. The functionality is okay in gluing flat surfaces together. I use Elmer's multi purpose or wood glue when gluing flat wood or MDF surfaces.
