How to Start a Vending Business Review: Awesome - I have been trying to find a way to establish some kind of passive income until I randomly stumbled across the idea of vending machines. With absolutely no idea where to start I turned to desertcart for some guidance, lo and behold I found this little gem. It was exactly what I needed, it was written from someone who has actually gone through the trials an tribulations of bulk vending. While his writing is not great he provides plenty of examples to illustrate his points. He has pictures of the different machines, gives pros and cons of each machine, the difference between bulk vending and soda/snack machine (thank god because I was thinking about getting into soda machines at $1000+ a piece). The book is quick and to the point and I feel ready to tackle this on. I already scoured Craigslist and found 7 1800 machines for under $100 a piece, and I am picking them up soon! I am going to be following the advice on this book and I know my business will just grow from there. Wish me luck on my new venture. God bless and I hope the author does well for himself with his ebook. Review: First Hand, Real Advice - The vending machine buisness is fascinating, and can be potentially lucrative. But, you must know what you are doing. This book will walk you through the process of finding the best deals on machines, how to secure profitable locations for your machines, and how to manage your route. The author also goes into how to recognize potential scams. I liked this book because every word of it was written from the author's first hand experience in the industry. The information appears unbiased and objective, and gives the reader a good ida of what to expect in the vending machine business. For an opposing view on this subject, you may want to check out The Vending Machine Home Business Opportunity: 3 Questions You Must Consider Before Getting Started . If you are looking for an alternative way to build a business and make a passive income from home, reading this book is a good place to start. Believe me, I have had some painful experiences in this business. I wish I had read this book before venturing into the vending business.

First Hand, Real Advice

Great read, but not a tell all about the business.
This was a very informative book, an easy read and I was able to finish the entire book in about two hours. It reads like a novel so it never gets dull like some of the other trade books out there. The book was clearly self-published and lacked a proper proof reading so it does have a few grammatical errors here and there, but nothing that can't be overlooked. The book can be a tad one-sided and the author consistently tells you to do things exactly his way, which is not always the best way, but it provides a good starting point. My advice is to read Vending Success Secrets: How Anyone Can Grow Rich in America's Best Cash Business for a less bias look at starting your own vending business. For instance, Antoine Cameron mentions right away that buying Runts is a mistake, however, Runts have been rated the #2 best selling candy in the industry. Just remember not to take everything Antoine Cameron says to the gospel. It is important to find your niche and do works best for you. All in all, this was a good read and had some useful information about getting started in the bulk candy vending business. My suggestion is to read this and at least 2 or 3 other books on the subject before getting started.

Grab your highlighter!
I purchased this book along with a few others, and luckily Antoine's book was the first one I read. I found myself from the first page looking for a highlighter to mark important things to remember and go back on. I highlighted and circled many things in the book, and it seems I keep picking up this book and referring back to it. I finished the book really easy and gained a lot of information. I then went to the second book from another author and felt like I just got spoiled on prime rib and was going to bologna. Funny but that's how I felt. It seems like the other books might be judged by this one.....thanks Antoine! I also notice that Antoine is not afraid to give out the little things....you know....the secrets...such as what company or sites he goes to for his business. I notice that other authors do not give that information out and if they do, it is mixed with other companies......and they never disclose which is the best company or website. Thanks again Antoine!

A Must Have If You Are Starting Out
I choose this rating because my husband and I started out with just an idea of wanting to do the business but had no one to guide us through this type of business process. There are not many books to choose from on the subject. The ratings were high on this book so, I had to start reading them. I must say, I AGREE that this book is an easy read, right to the point, full of information and in such a small book. I was finished in a day. I have followed his advice so far and so far so good. I would definitely advised this book to anyone who is looking to start out with either snack or bulk vending business. I emailed Antoine to get clarification about something he wrote, and it was as if he was waiting for my email, because by the time I hit send he responded with a genuine answer to my email. I am so grateful to have read this book. I feel succeeding is all that will happen after reading this book. Thank Antoine Cameron

AVOID KICK START LOCATIONS
This is actually a really well thought out book and written well also - however, the entire plan hinges on the fact that you have to be able to place machines. The company he recommends (KickStart Locations) is one of the sloppiest companies I've ever encountered. It is obviously a small time operation run by some guy in Florida's cell phone. He's hired people overseas to cold call - they barely speak or understand English - so you wind up with a bunch of garbage and trying to talk your way into these "leads". I would give this book 5 stars if it wasn't for that single time-wasting recommendation of KickStart and contemplated giving it 1 star because of it. Antoine, this is well written, but your recommendation of KickStart is absolutely horrible advice that you might want to consider revising.

I loved this book, with all the tips and tricks I would recommend for anyone who doesn't have a clear cut idea on how to get started in the candy vending space.
