Excelent camara drone
Received my X380 by the end of November and as of today, February 6, I have over 70 flights logged. When I bought it it was my second X380 with the first one still going strong with over 120 logged flights and received a third one two weeks ago. Used this drones for a work project and also for pleasure and fun recording a total of over 40 hours of video footage. In my opinion this are very well made drones with excellent FCs if they are handled correctly doing the neccesary calibrations before each new flying day or if you change flying locations. It is a must to follow basic recommendations from the XK Detect X380 "RCFORUM" before first take-off to make sure to have safe and flawless flights. It is a pitty that the company, XK-Innovations, did not improve and complete the X380s manual after some customer complains because of unneccesary crashes resulting of lack of a complete and comprehensive manual.Just can recommend this drones as I love mine.

DEFECTIVE
I currently own the Syma 5, Syma X8HG, Cheerson CX20 (junk), and the DJI Phantom (standard). I didn't really like the idea of sending out the Phantom too far but loved arial photography so I decided purchase a Cheerson CX20 which I really didn't like but was still interested in purchasing an entry level GPS drone that I could attach a camera. After the CX20's disappointment I decided to purchase the XK WLXK - X380 , this is the fully loaded X380 complete with FPV,1080p camera and 2 axis gimbal. My first out of the box impressions were very high. On the first test flight I was stunned at how smooth and responsive the X380 was and unlike the Cheerson CX20's hard landing (which is very prone to cracking the landing gear) the auto land feature on the X380 worked absolutely perfect and initially I felt this Quadcopter was a 5 star winner. That all changed the second day I took it out for a flight and after the rear green light flashed to indicate I was locked on GPS I made it elevate approximately 10 feet off of the ground (this is a normal routine that I have always done with all of my drones to check for anything that may appear abnormal (like the swirling fishbowl effect) and after approximately 30 seconds of elevated idling the x380 rapidly elevated (by itself) another 20 feet of so and started twisting and shaking very erratically and nosedived to the ground crushing the case . Now I have a $400 dollar "plus" paperweight............... Moving forward I will ONLY purchase DJI products. Please note : Although I am a prime member I did NOT purchase my XK WLXK - X380 from Amazon

I've flown a few quadcopters before this one like the X8C by Syma and CX20
Got my X380 today, unboxed it, read the book, put the props on, attached the cam holder, charged the battery, waited for the battery, put the battery in, calibrated it, trimmed the transmitter,, reacquired GPS and took off. I've flown a few quadcopters before this one like the X8C by Syma and CX20. The X380 flew excellent for about 20 mins, took it home, recharged the battery, took her back out, re calibrated and all that good stuff, hit the auto take off for about 2 seconds, quad took off nicely hovered for a few and i took it up about 20 feet and i was about 40 feet away. Few nicely, and responded good. That is until, it kinda shot up in the air about 50 more feet, spun/wobbled weirdly then flipped upside down and fell to the ground. Two quad arms broken where the legs meet, one of the eyes broke off, props busted to oblivion. I really hope the one I got had some type of glitch in the software or maybe a bad transmitter. Was able to return thankfully for a replacement. Finger crossed on the next one be cause when it does fly correctly, it fly's great!

It's rock solid in the air if you have good satellite lock and properly calibrate the compass and sticks
I've had my X380 for quite a while now. Many flights and never a crash. I have had some issues with it but nothing that would cause a crash. It's rock solid in the air if you have good satellite lock and properly calibrate the compass and sticks. Even on quite windy days it will hold position, especially if you turn up the speed in the config software. I have a cheap 2d brushless gimbal and SJ-400 camera on it with a Boscam TX for video. I also fly it with goggles and it all works great. I did burn out the camera tilt circuit at one point but I fixed it with a signal converter per a YouTube video. At present all is working and I use the power provided by the craft for my external equipment. Some folks say you should connect directly the battery, but I've had zero problems with it. Mine was a later model that came already equipped with the latest firmware so I never had to upgrade, and that is where some folks ran into trouble. You just have to do it in the correct order though. Overall I feel like I got a $1000 photography drone for less than half price. A true deal.

amazing and works as advertised!
I got my x380 about 2 months ago. Everything works as advertised! It takes off on auto mode and lands.I have lost site of it a couple times and she comes right home and lands. FAP works great. The lights are awesome fit night flying! That's my favorite time to fly! I'm always getting excited people asking me a million questions about it cuz it's so awesome. I'm very happy with the product! Even quadcopter101 from YouTube says it's a keeper and he knows his stuff abut quads. I would but another in a heartbeat but when a brushless gimbal and camera this time. The brushed gimbal is good to just balance your props n you will get amazing footage like I have.
