No more spoiled fruit or vegetables, ever!
These bags are amazing. I recently had to completely change my diet because of prediabetes and it includes a ton of fresh fruit and vegetables. I live alone, and it's hard to buy small amounts - these foods have always gone bad before I had a chance to finish them. These bags fix all that.I have used them for apples, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, salad greens, celery, fresh herbs like parsley, carrots, and much more. Everything has stayed fresh for one and even two weeks without wilting or spoiling. The first picture is an apple that I cut 2 weeks ago, then again last week. It's still crisp and hasn't even gone brown. The blueberries are from two weeks ago and they're still plump and fresh - they haven't gone mushy and there's no mold. The parsley is over a week old and it's still fresh. These bags really do work and I couldn't eat the way I do without them. The only thing I tried that wasn't successful was bananas and I noticed there were quite a few reviews that said the same. I know some people have had success with bananas, but it didn't work for me. I primarily freeze them for smoothies, so I don't mind leaving them on the counter. These are totally worth it for everything else. This pack had three different sizes, but the large are way too large for me and I would probably never use the medium either. Next time I'll just order the small ones - they work for everything.

If you love fresh produce, these are a MUST!
I am a vegetarian, and I am so sick of throwing away produce! Those new "compostable" bags that grocery stores provide for produce somehow suck the moisture and LIFE out of produce, and they go sideways in two days (I'm sure this is intentional). These bags are a game changer. Your produce won't last forever, but long enough for you to use in a recipe. Depending on the vegetable, these bags will keep veggies from one to two weeks. I am a happy customer!

Keeps fresh far longer
These are terrific! I’ve bought them for years, they really work great with fresh produce. I use them for all kinds of lettuces and veggies and they keep them fresh for at least 2weeks and more. Remove any store wrappings and slip into one of these and fold the end over and put in veggie bin in fridge.

Not boxed as shown
Not sure these really work but we use them anyway. They aren’t packaged in a box as shown, were cheaply wrapped in a clear plastic bag.

Amazing Preservation of Leafy Vegetables
I use these bags mostly for leafy vegetables and varieties of lettuce, bunches of fresh carrots/asparagus/broccoli/cauliflower/celery. I cook enough for myself and one day of leftovers. The remainder of the produce stays fresh for at least TEN days! Don’t wash the vegetables before placing in the green bag. Broccoli and cauliflower can be cut up into portions before placing in the bag. * These bags are reusable. Wash inside and out with a bit of dish soap. Rinse well. I have a basket on the wall over my stove. Uses a clothes pin and hang until dry, then turn the bag(s) inside out to dry. I’m sending a package to my friend.

Save $$$ On Your Grocery Bill
I have saved hundreds of dollars in groceries since I started using these bags. It makes fresh produce much less of a headache and I throw out very little, anymore! DMGB are the best fresh food storage bags (no question about it, size matters and the sizes available fit just about anything - within reason).Be sure to follow instructions on the packaging for best results. However, there are some tricks I’ve learned.*You can’t put food in them and forget about them. As with any FOOD left unattended, it will continue to deteriorate in the bag but at an MUCH SLOWER RATE!*Moisture in the bag is a problem! The bag should be dried out or the food put in a fresh dry bag so the other can be washed and dried. Sometimes putting a dry paper towel in the bag helps “control” the moisture.*I have found that lightly twisting or gently folding over the top of the bag is better than closing it tightly. (That might just be me.) *Dehydration can be a problem in a frost-free refrigerator if food is kept for tooooo long.*And remember these bags ARE REUSABLE! I turn the bag inside out and rinse with warm (not hot) water (instructions say no soap. I use a couple of drops rubbed in my wet hands to gently massage any icky stuff off and air dry. *Once the vivid green is gone from the bag it is time to replace them. Nothing lasts forever… but love (for these bags)!

WORK GREAT...LASTS A LONG TIME
These bags are Great. I actually have a set of the Green Boxes. Have had them for over 20 years! Love them. I did start out with the bags. You use them 10 times and then use another. As I used one I wouldi would make an X in ink so I kept track. I just got a set to have. But the boxes LAST, too! Try Both. Thanks, Debbie. Bought the boxes on HSN many years ago...but would buy on Amazon now.

Doesn't provide the freshness described. Don't bother to buy.
I am not impressed with these bags. They have not kept my produce fresher than any other bag.Not worth the price.
