Has worked well for me for over 5 years
I've been using this power supply daily since I bought it over 5 years ago. It's nice for using in videos because it lays flat next to projects I am demonstrating. In that way it is easy to see the display while also showing the circuit that it is powering. I also use it to recharge smaller lithium batteries and power banks because you can limit the current. It will easily fit well in a bag and doesn't weigh much when you want a more portable adjustable power supply rather than the normal sized power supplies. I recommend to buy this power supply
After getting an excellent support from TekPower I made the modifications and the unit works great. It works as expected, now the output has zero voltage on terminals when you turn it off.The modifications are very simple to make. This power supply is very versatile, I use it on my desk everyday, and when I travel I just put it on my backpack and I don't need to have the hassle to ask for a power supply when traveling to visit customers or manufacturing partners. Also, no more cutting USB cables to measure the current consumption, I just plug the USB cable, turn on the USB output and I have the voltage and current readings on the screen.I love the UI, it is intuitive and easy to use, big character numbers help and it has an excellent brightness and contrast.I recommend to buy this power supply, you are going to love it, that you may want to buy more.

A fine addition to the tool bag.
Having a portable adjustable power supply is very useful. I use this device to test prototypes and provide a rough idea of power requirements.Voltage seems very accurate with the output being within a few hundredths of a volt of the set value. Measuring low currents of less than 5mA is not accurate but one can just put a multi meter in series for more accurate measurements.Things to consider:*included alligator cables are very small gauge. Mine appear to be 22AWG.* When “off” the unit can output a small negative voltage, usually less than -200mV. You can supposedly modify the power supply to get rid of this but I have not found it to be enough of a nuisance to justify.*The “USB” ports output the set voltage. Do not have a usb device connected if you are using a voltage other than 5V or you can, and will, let the smoke out of something.

Compact, easy to use and versatile power supply!
This is the most compact variable power supply that I could find, and that was a must for I travel a lot. It's easy to use, and the output is precise. The USB ports are very handy too.I needed a wide range of voltage, and 1.6 amp at its higher voltage is quite a bit. I didn't need ultra clean levels (it's a switched supply, not linear), and if I needed I can always filter in my circuits.Online you can find several reviews warning about a negative voltage of - 0.6v instead of 0 when the output is disabled . That's true, and for most people it's not too important. To me it wasn't a show stopper! If you're worried about it and like electronics you can modify it yourself.Their support team is excellent! I asked about that issue and they not only pointed me to the right documentation, but also sent me free resistors for the modification.Overall I think that is really good bang for the bucket.

Remote power for testing
This handheld power supply provided the 24volts needed to test the ethernet switches in an inverter that has not been powered up. With my handheld 120volt power supply to provide power to this unit, powering up and made minor adjustments, it worked immediately, never loss power for over 1hr. I am impressed with this unit, I encouraged my colleagues to purchase it.

Failed after 14 months of VERY light use
Worked great while it worked, the few times I used it, but today, not even 2 years after purchase, it has already failed. I used it less than 10 times, very horrid quality and won't buy another Tekpower product.

Very handy portable dc power supply
I purchased this amazing portable power supply for use in our overseas home. It is quite small and light, strongly built, easily carried in a backpack or travel case, and useable off our own 240V supply. It is very easy to use for my electronic hobby projects, providing a good range of controlled and stable voltage/current for my use.

Apparently I'm Fonzie.
So, this is a generic power supply that is re-branded. The fit and finish is great and it ended up doing a fine job for a portable PSU. The reason for the two star review is because I could not get it to work! The output would surge for about a second and then terminate, never going above about one and a half volts. Out of frustration I banged it on the table a couple times. Sadly that actually made it work, the output voltage became the set voltage and I could actually energize a circuit. For a hundred bucks I would like a product that works straight out of the box, I shouldn't have to have to beat on the thing like it's a juke box to use it.
