Nap Zapper Driver Alert Alarm

My husband drives an hour to & from work everyday PLUS works a ton of hours. So, he's exhausted all the time. He has to pull over for naps all the time (because he already has a mild form of narcolepsy). HOWEVER, he seems to underestimate the level of his exhaustion sometimes and wants to just get home. I've been riding with him when his eyes get heavy and he's about to fall asleep so I worry so much about whether or not he's going to know if he needs to pull over.This has given me peace of mind when he's traveling. He said wearing it makes you more aware so that already helps, but the nap zapper has gone off a couple of times as he has gotten too tired. So, I would recommend this for anyone who is a tired driver. It's a lifesaver and you'll have peace of mind too. It's worth it for the small price you pay to purchase one.

I like it a lot. It even has a small penlight that I was not aware that it came with. I had a product almost exactly like this from years ago, and it just died. This one should give me years of service. The only thing that I would have liked to have (my old one had this feature) is two settings for the alarm to go off. My old one had a "sensitive" setting and a more "regular" setting. This only has one, but it will do the trick and may save my life some evening.

I bought this because I have a certain time of the day I fall asleep. This is an okay item. it only has an alarm. If I tilt my head forward it goes off immediately, but if I tilt my head sideways or backwards it makes no sound. This is not the perfect item in keeping me awake because I tend to lean to the right side instead of leaning forward the majority of time.I will keep looking for a better product, but for under way under $10 what do you really expect.

It's a great idea, but I've found out that when I doze off I don't always hang my head. The alarm won't sound then. I also found that if I look down at something it will sound. It's a great idea, but the fit and function aren't always perfect. For the money why not try it. It may work for you.

Does it's job as advertised, however it not only annoys me but it annoys my coworkerd as wel as they can hearit.

Kind of abulky thing, but I suppose you pay a LOT more for miniaturization. The Zapper has caught my wife nodding off as she works at home, but hasn't yet been used for driving, so no help there.

Thi one fits around ear better .. even while wearing glasses.Louder than other models.Led Lamp is an added feature.Lasts long time on inexpensive battery.Do buy your batteries .. including cell/button and cell type on or at least Via Amazon.Regards, Don

This product is a waste of money. Even set to the most sensitive postion on my ear it did NOT alarm when I fell asleep. My wife saved the day instead by punching me and saving a major car crash.
