Great Company, Great Product! Soldering never gets any easier when you tips temp are preset and dependable to know how they will work.

3 of them died.
Thermaltronics tips don't last, 3 different tips died with light use within a year or two. It stop melting solder when on ground plane. We use Metcal tips at work, very seldom goes bad with everyday use. AND I know how to solder and taught technicians soldering. The Thermaltronics 9000 station is very good though, so I use that with Metcal tips now.

Bad Quality
Was happy with the product, but the life is less than have of MetCal STTC product. Wouldn't recommend for heavy continuous use.
