Dr. MartensWomen's 1460 Smooth Leather Boot

Got these as a birthday gift for my best friend, no complaints! She loves them, exactly like the pic and durable.

He says these are the best boots he has ever owned and he goes through shoes like crazy. He said he's owned 2 other pairs of these in his life - 1 go stolen and 1 he grew out of. Neither fell apart. These are heavy duty and he loves him. One downfall is he said they don't have the same bottom footprint as they used to. He said that was a trademark, but for some reason they changed it and he thought that was a bummer.

It's a little uncomfy around the ankle, but my boyfriend likes it because it is "shinny". Lol. He is 9 1/2. I think I bought a size down. Fits well too.

I bought these boots because I wanted something good for the upstate New York winters, but not clunky winter boots that would be awkward to walk around in when in doors.They seem to serve their purpose. The are comfortable to wear all day, and when I need to walk through snow and slush they keep my feet dry (I didn't spray them or anything, they just are water tight. I have not submerged my foot completely). They look pretty nice, the toe doesn't have a big square toe that makes many shoes look ugly (in my opinion), and they came with an extra set of yellow laces.The two cons for this pair of boots is that the leather felt stiff (kind of like raw hide when I first got them. I had expected that since I have read other reviews, but the other pair of Doc Martins I owned came with very much nice feeling leather. I would wear thich socks the first week. The part of the shoe that comes up around the ankle will rub your ankle and hurt a little, it goes away, but until they break in a bit you will want to protect yourself from blisters.Over all, I would recommend these boots for anyone with similar needs to my own, they look and feel nice, and they seem to be hearty.

First pair of Doc Marten's. Very pleased with these shoes. Mine fit well so they are quite comfortable, no break in, wore them all day the first day and my feet like them. Quality seems very good to me. I can't find anything to complain about, I don't feel cheated purchasing these at all.

Made in Vietnam or someplace like that. Won't close correctly around my ankle and I don't have small legs. Pay extra for the real ones don't buy this.

I love these boots Im still breaking them in but I feel f-ing cool wearing these shoes and I'm not very cool at all. I expect these boots to last a long time and if they don't I will rescind all stars.
