Weak tethering
Yes it makes the GoPro float more like suspend in water. The reason I had to give it two stars is because the tethering is weak and only held by very thin nylon string. It lasted half the trip to the Caribbean. Since this is supposed to secure a $600+ action camera I expected better integrity in the tethering from band to camera. I had to make a makeshift solution with 550 cord (paracord for you civilians).

The bright color makes it easy to find anywhere
Keeps my waterproof camera going to the bottom if the kids knock it in the lake. The bright color makes it easy to find anywhere, and the wrist strap design keeps the camera handy when snorkelling

Worked as advertised. Floats with the camera attached and fastens tight to your wrist. Worked great for our snorkeling trip in Honduras

Piece of crap - doesn't float
Piece of crap - doesn't float. Bought it to attach to an iPhone with waterproof case. Tested it in shallow water and phone sank like a rock taking the wrist strap with it. Will return ASAP.

Although the case seems sturdy, placed under water for possibly 10 seconds and case began to fill with water, thankfully I tested it out empty before hand, in the process of returning
