This foil is not for use with laminators
These foils are specifically for use with hot foil machines (e.g. Spellbinders Glimmer or Gemini Foilpress), not laminators, as there is a clear film of adhesive on the back of hot foil, so it will stick wherever pressure is applied when heated. It is therefore meant for use with special hot foil metal plate designs which only apply pressure over the plate area. You need ‘toner activated foil’ for use with laminators, as there is no adhesive on this foil. The adhesion is made when your printer toner ink is heated by your laminator and becomes sticky, which then allows the foil to stick on the areas where there is toner ink. You have to make sure you use the correct foil depending on whether you are using a laminator or a hot foil machine.
