I Used to Play Piano -- 80s and 90s Hits: An Innovative Approach for Adults Returning to the Piano

This is a nice little book. I just began playing piano again after 20+ years and this book is a good place to start for me. Very easy but includes both hands with a flat or sharp in some of the songs. The only thing is that I don't think the complete songs are there. At the very least, not all the words. So each piece if very short and just by the time I am really getting into the song, it's over! I do like several of the songs and a few that I did not recognize by titles, once I played them, I knew the song after all. All in all I like the book but only wish they would have included at least, all the verses.

My wife used to play the piano and this past Christmas (2019) she got two electronic keyboards, one from me and one from her father. But she hadn't played in nearly 40-years. So, she got the instruction book by the same title and didn't like the stodgy songs to practice. She really appreciated this book because the music was more modern and up-beat.

I haven't played in years and have enjoyed toying around with these pieces to get back to it!

I love so many of the songs in the book but I probably still need more of a beginners bookto refresh my memory since I haven't played in so long.

On the back page of this book and said there should be a fully orchestrated CD containing many things. It also says there’s preliminary pages with a short review of essentials and neither of those came with this order. I would not recommend this book as there is no instruction at all to get back into playing the piano just 10 Incomplete slow songs.

I haven’t played piano in over 20 years. This serious is perfectly leveled as I try to learn again.

This has been a lot of fun. The songs are all ones that I know which is great and makes them easy to learn. They get progressively harder which is perfect.

Not as many songs as I had hoped but a good book.
