Have been trying to switch to whole grains and the last switch I've made is from white rice to brown. I figure I may as well spend my time during this pandemic eating healthier and getting more exercise. The rice is flavorful and cooked up well in my rice cooker. No complaints about the quality at all. I knocked it down a star because a two-pound bag of rice really should have a ziplock opening as you're obviously not going to eat the entire two pounds at one sitting. I ended up putting the open bag in a ziplock bag of my own, which works but still shouldn't be necessary. Really poor packaging.

Excellent quality

Every time I cook this rice, I cook a full cup in my little Aurora rice cooker and freeze whatever the two of us don't eat for that meal into 8 oz. kraft microwaveable containers so my partner can pull out one to nuke with whatever else he makes for his lunch. It also cooks well in my sun oven; I just use a little less water.

I eat brown rice because of diabetes. I've tried other brands of brown rice and decided to try Uncle Ben's. What a surprise! You can barely tell you're eating brown rice, it's very nice and tasty. My roommate thought it was white rice before I told him. I'm not the greatest cook of rice and usually err on the consistency. Uncle Ben's, however, comes out fluffy and just right, not sticky or over-cooked. In short, it was a great find for me.
