Decent 2 zone cymbal
This model is OEM cymbal for the roland kit I have (TD-17). I decided to buy an extra one to replace an alesis cymbal I had hooked up to an open input. It is the exact same thing that came with my kit originally. It is durable, and very accurate. I will be buying one more when I have the funds to finish off my kit.

Exact Replacement for Older Roland e-Drums!
I was happy to find this exact replacement cymbal for my older Roland e-drum set. The cymbal arrived in new packaging and I didn't see any signs of it being used or refurbished. Connected right up and works like a champ. I'm very happy with this purchase and will certainly buy again if another cymbal goes out!

It is what it is, but that is a good thing.
I bought two of these for my TD30-KV (to take up the two open AUX inputs I had available). One is used for a china, the other for a splash. I wanted something "good" but economical, and these nailed it. I am a firm believer that nothing can be "perfect", as that would not allow for improvements. So for anyone else giving a review, I'd say they'd probably give it 5 stars. But I think 4 is about as low as they should go for quality and price. ;)

Worth Every Penny!
I bought this used through a third party seller and was very worried that it would not work as well as the same CY-8 cymbals that I bought new. I bought this for half of the price of a new cymbal and it came in with little to no wear and tear and works just as good as any of my newer cymbals I have! I would definitely recommend if you don't feel like pitching out the extra money for a brand new cymbal.

As Good As The Cymbals You Get With the Full Kit
As good as the cymbals you get in the full drum kit. As advertised.

Looks brand new and works like it is brand new!
Great used product. BETTER THAN being ripped off on eBay for the same product! You can trust Amazon!

Cymbal is good, Amazon not so much
Because Amazon doesn't directly sell this from their warehouse, you are left to choose one of the associated sellers. Choose wisely. I received an open-box item with all the factory accessories (Owner's Manual, Connection Cable, Wing Nut, Felt Washer, Stopper) taken from the factory package. Because Amazon refuses to update the CY-8 detail page with "What's in the box", the seller claims that the CY-8 sans accessories is all they need to send me. To return the missing parts order to the seller, I get hit with a 20% restocking fee. Yeah, that seems fair.I placed the same order a month earlier from a different seller and received everything I was supposed to; the CY-8 + all the accessories from an unopened box.Don't even try to submit a claim to Amazon's A-to-z guarantee program as they are just an outsourced company who doesn't even read the claim details. They suggested that I contact my local authorities. As for the actual CY-8 cymbal, they're great. The two original ones I had with my set lasted a little more than 3 years of playing 5+ times a week, all hard hitting and always very responsive. Lately, the trigger had gone out so I had to order new ones. But, 3+ years is great for how inexpensive these are.I added a customer image of the accessories that need to be in the factory box - don't get ripped off like I did!
