Great little heater
We survived the 2020 winter by gathering in my shop with friends, but needed heat to get through the cold months. Since patio heaters were nowhere to be found I decided to give this a try instead of the bottle top heaters. Hose is nice and long so the bottle can sit off to the side. Having the heat at floor level was actually better for us, did not have to worry about anyone burning clothes by standing to close, and was even able to use at a friends patio pointing under the table to keep all of us warm (they ordered one next day). Puts out great heat, and since it is a ceramic heater, nice and quiet, and temp adjustment works well.

good heat
I had trouble lighting this unit. It took several tries to do so. Then when I moved it a few inches to relocate the direction of the heat, the 'tip over' devise turned off the burner. It would not relight until it cooled down. then the same thing happened again.I bi-passed the safety tip-over unit, and now it works perfectly. I bought a second unit at the same time as this one. Before I ever used it I bi-passed the tip and had no problem lighting it. Works great now.

Wish I'd found this sooner
We got this little guy to heat our smoking area in the garage during the winter. We've tried all kinds of heaters, some substantially higher in cost than this, but none of them worked as well as this thing. It will cook you alive if you sit too close, and is very efficient on propane. We shut it off when we come in to save the gas, because it heats up in no time, but once or twice we left it on for a little while and it heated the WHOLE wide 2 car garage by a substantial margin.I only have 2 complaints: I wish it sat just a little higher because of the "whoosh" when you ignite it. We have a crunchy spot on the carpet remnant where we sit from the little fireballs, although I was never worried about it actually igniting the carpet. I'd recommend you find something to set it up on to avoid damaging any susceptible surfaces. And make sure you keep any and all hair away from it when you light it. More than once we both lost arm hair lol. Also, after a while, the thermocouple began failing. So you sit there and use the igniter over and over, and you have to hold the pilot button down until it heats long enough to stay lit. Wiping the thermocouple gently with a cloth before lighting, every few uses, seems to alleviate the problem. Those things said, for the price, I can't recommend this heater highly enough.

Char box
This device just almost poisoned Holmes inhabitants pets and all And it without intervention surely would’ve started a house fire right next to the propane tank feeding it…Some Wiz on design team decided the NOT FLAMMABLE metal enclosure needed a few coats of NON FIRE RATED PAINT. mind you heat resistant paint is actually some thing that exists nowadays. Followed in manufacture safety recommendations to the letter even exceeding by adding check valve with regulator and pressure gauge. It looks like the attached starter/regulator on this thing failed open fully and it lit the outside of the enclosure on fire filling the space with toxic fumes blasting out fire as if a blow torch. Is it just me or are all of the heaters on Amazon death machines or just completely useless. I’ve purchased 4 in the past two weeks from different vendors. One worked well but while it was off and nobody was home it melted and fused its self to the wall outlet… Then this one, the third was a “mini oil burning radiator” Which was all electric did not take oil and mini meant the size of a waffle press.. So obviously my body heat generated more warmth than this dink. The fourth is arriving today… Super nervous I guess will roll the dice and go to sleep tonight

Great Portable Heater
I have been using this heater in my garage (22'x21') for the last couple of months. It worked flawlessly. Although it is rated at 15K btu/hr, it heats the space to a comfortable temperature in a reasonable amount of time.

Gets the job done....
Ordered this item to keep the wife warm while enjoying the patio when the evenings get a little cooler than anticipated. It works well, but some caveats. First, the packaging and some of the descriptions say this is meant for use indoors.....not a great idea because of the generation of carbon monoxide. This is technically NOT a catalytic heater....those cost more $$$. Which brings me to point #2: the gas inlet is open to the air, and the orifice that shoots the gas into the heating chamber, is open to have the breeze/wind affect the heating pattern and gas flow to the heat grid. If the wind catches that orifice just right, it changes the air/fuel mixture and can result in actual flames rising above the protection screen, so one would need to be wary of what is above and around the heater. Third point; being this is an import, it did not arrive in factory perfect packaging: the ends of the base were sticking out of holes in the package, and the tip-over sensor was loose and missing one of its fasteners. Luckily I have a stash of reclaimed nuts and bolts in the garage, which I was able to easily replace the missing parts. Later, when ready to toss the packaging, the screw fell out of the box, having been lodged in the flaps on the bottom of the box. The nut and washers were nowhere to found. All all, for the price, it does a nice job and keeps the better comfortable.

Needs better packaging for shipment
This was shipped in the box the manufacturer provided, with no additional packaging. This proved to be inadequate, as the item arrived with some damage. Also, there were holes worn in the box and loose parts inside. By some miracle, nothing was missing and I was able to straighten the bent mounting bracket. The heater itself works well, and the best part is it has a temperature sensor probe instead of a tiny pilot light like another brand of ceramic heater. This means it doesn't shut off every time a puff of wind blows out the pilot light, making it much more suitable for use in a deer stand, for example.
