KingstonMobileLite Plus (MLP ) SD Card Reader USB 3.2 SDHC/SDXC UHS-II

Having tried lots of card readers and never achieved the speed - using V60 cards - that my expensive Sony card reader can achieve, it was great to find that this Kingston card reader could read V60 cards at the same speed as Sony. I've now bought 3 and all perform perfectly. The Sony reader drops to around 80 Mbps with V30 cards (e.g. Sandisk) yet the Kingston reader manages 160 Mbps with the same cards.

Owned many cheap SD readers. They are junk. This is the only SD card reader that actually works. Spec correct. Worth the extra money you have to pay.

I’ve been struggling with various card readers, some that come in a USB dongle, but they were never that fast and took up space. This was recommended by a friend and I need to thank him because it’s the smallest and fastest reader I own. Some may not like the fact it’s not UBS-C, but I have a PC with a front USB 3.1 input and it’s perfect.

This card reader is really fast and works as it should.Would recommend this product to anyone thinking of buying.

The design is very good, minimalistic and clean looking. Quality of plastic and overall build quality is good. When you slot in the SD card, it has a tactile bump so you know you've inserted the card properly. Transfer speeds I get with this reader are great, I max out the read/write performance of my microSD card.
