Wonderful activity for my grandchildren
I needed an activity for my 10 year old grandson and granddaughter and my 13 year old grandson. I wanted them to have fun and use their imagination. This clay was an overwhelming success. It kept them busy and they made various items( birds, turtles, fish, a bowl studded with rocks they found). They had a great time. I have enough clay left over that I am going to try my hand at creating a “masterpiece!”I thought the clay was moldable but put down wax paper so it doesn’t stick to the surface of the table. It had an earthy smell but I think that’s how clay is supposed to smell.Overall, I am very pleased with the clay.

Great product
The clay is a bit tough at first but once you start molding it, it gets easier! It does take at least 24 hours to dry. This is my first time using it and it reminds me of adult version of play dough! I made a tic tac toe game that loooks like lucky charms. I hope to make more projects in the future! 10 outta 10 recommend!!

Item as indicated. Gray clay seems a bit difficult to work.
The gray seems to be more difficult work with than the white clay which for me worked better and I would rate higher. It probably depends on the type of texture a person would prefer.

Better than crayola air dry clay!
This clay is some of the best on the market. It’s soft enough to mold but durable enough to get those finer details in. You can also add water to soften it up a bit if you need and it doesn’t crack easily upon drying either! It does have a bit of an earthy smell like grass, but that’s because it’s natural! The box stores the size of the clay perfectly and it’s 10 pounds so there’s a lot!!! Perfect for the price.

Easy to work with
I’m totally a newbie sculpting with this type of clay. I know over practice and time I’ll get better at it. My advice for people like me getting into clay like this is to have patience and if you are using a structure as a frame or armature, mannequin etc; due to the weight or amount of clay you use it will crack. That’s because it’s holding a lot of moisture or water. Cracking is an easy fix. You just use fresh clay and water and cover the crack up. I made over a 12 inch high and like 30 lb piece. Castle Grayskull from HeMan. What I wrote here were my learning curves. It wasn’t the clay, it wasn’t defective. But this clay is very durable and easy to work with. It does carry a strong odor! I suggest wearing a mask or leave a window open nearby. Great product otherwise!
