These are advertised as flexible. Which I guess is not totally false, but was not able to edge around the mulch are around a tree. Tried to return, and this is why i gave it one star.... not only would the company not pay for the shipping but they only offered a 10% refund. (Which would not even begin to pay for the return shipping) do not purchase from this company.

Thickness is about 0.08", which is approximately 14 gauge. Very sturdy. It has a black coating, so it's not technically weathering steel (i.e. Cor-ten or A606) which forms a rust surface coating. But the coating looks very good (if you're not aiming for a rust look) and it seems very tough. I returned it because I want the rust look, so I can't tell you how the coating holds up over time. I do wish the description had been more detailed and accurate because return shipping is very expensive!

This edging is a new favorite. It has been placed for two months and has shown itself to be durable - it’s resistant to lots of garden watering and also to scratching. We just bought a lot more of it. It’s not cheap but we feel it’s a good value after pulling out the previous owner’s wonky, expensive scalloped brick trim.We used a spade to create a simple trench of about 4” and the saw tooth edge at the base made the panels easy to tap into the trench with a soft mallet. Use a block of soft wood or an old book to buffer any tapping if you use a hammer or hard mallet. A hard mallet will mark the metal.

I used this to edge a small brick patio where the bricks, standing vertically around the edges, were collapsing. Straightened them up and installed with a mallet to drive into the ground. Bent the corners using two pieces of 1x4 pine board and two c-clamps to secure for a fairly sharp bend. This is a great product. It rained hard the night before installation, which made it easier to drive the sections into the ground. The "hairpin" clips included secure the final installation.

I have finally installed these guides to create a small little vegetable garden for myself during these COVID-19 times. The guides are great! The shape of my garden is just big enough and the guides were super easy to install. In addition, the guides make it incredibly easy to maintain the yard surrounding their outline. You can't go wrong.

These are heavy. They lend themselves to application using straight runs and mild curves, as they are hard to bend. They do come with 2 hole punched into 1 end of each 40" piece, so you can fasten them to each other using #12 3/4" screws and nuts. If you want to fasten them all to each other, you will ahve to drill holes at the other end as well. They do provide pegs/stakes made out of the same material whic will help to connect them.

This 8” edging is amazing. Living in New Orleans means wood rots and plastic falls apart. I needed an edging in front of my rod iron fence that held the dirt in and not flow onto the sidewalk. This black edging was perfect. Sturdy and just thick enough to be effective and still aesthetically pleasing. Although not cheap you probably only need to buy this edging once and not have to replace. It did not take long to install and looks great. Highly recommend this product

I purchased these for my mother after she had picked them out. They arrived earlier than expected considering the current events. They were thicker, sturdier and of a better quality than she had expected. Finally she also noted they were very easy to install and get setup in her backyard when I checked on the delivery.She gave the edging a glowing review, which is honestly rare enough.

Very impressed with how thick and strong this edging feels and looks (not the flimsy aluminum edging you get at the big box stores).I can definitely see how some reviewers might complain about having a hard time bending this... it can take a bit of muscle, and a lot of time to make the metal stay at some type of curved form.But for my purposes (straight and a few 90degree bends), it was was perfect.
