While traveling by motorcycle I needed a lightweight soldering iron to repair some light gauge wires. I went to 2 big box home improvement stores and their price was $20. This one was far cheaper and worked great, came with several different tips, flux, & solder. The solder iron has an on off switch and temp control.

I needed a second soldering iron for a project, and already have a solid Weller station. So I grabbed this one. It has an assortment of tips, a tub of flux, and a roll of solder. It has a little stand that is okay too. The iron has an on/off switch, a temp dial, and a led to show that it is powered up. It worked really well. Job is done. Mission accomplished. This is a great setup for the price. If you want a good iron, spend more. For a cheap unit, this one is perfect.

This soldering kit is a clear case of "you get what you pay for." For what it costs, it's a fairly complete solution for starting out or for very occasional jobs. The main advantage is that it comes with everything you need (10-in-1), and the adjustable temperature feature is a plus not always seen on such inexpensive equipment. Now, being realistic, the build quality of the soldering iron feels quite light, almost "disposable." This isn't a tool that seems designed to last for years or for professional use. However, for small electronics projects, a hobby, or a quick, sporadic repair, it works perfectly. The 5 interchangeable tips also provide good versatility. In summary: if you're looking for a robust, everyday tool, this isn't it. But if you need something cheap to get you by on small projects, it gets the job done.

Works great, heats up quick, has a adjustment to control temperature which is neat and very useful, the included tips make it very useful and versatil for different projects and the metal stand is very very useful specially since i work on a wood table, makes repairing electrical projects very easy, it holds heat very well and feels sturdy not like those other ones that feel cheap.

Get what you pay for, flux came dried out, just cheap quality. Works for small projects though

For the price you are paying you are getting a great soldering iron with a ton of little extra pieces and everything you need to jump straight into a board and get wiring. Doesn't get too hot to hold, holds up well to abuse and misuse.

Great bargain, compact and complete light weight set. Performed well.

It's a cheap Soldering Iron Kit perfect for people who want to do small jobs or just want to play around with soldering but it does feel cheap and I know it will one day just stop working but right now it works fine and does the job.

Bought this as a do it your self kit for making a wire harness. Works great heats up very fast! Would have got 5 stars but included holder is pretty flimsy and cheap. But for the money it makes sense
