quality light
The Astro Tools 52SL LED Slim Light is hands down one of the best work lights I’ve ever used! The dual-sided design with 500x2 lumens provides incredible brightness and allows me to light up a large area with ease. The adjustable folding feature is great for directing the light exactly where I need it, whether I’m working on a car, in the attic, or on detailed projects. It’s convenient to charge and use, and the battery life lasts a surprisingly long time. The slim profile makes it easy to store and carry around, and it’s lightweight but feels sturdy and durable. The build quality is excellent, and the LED lights are super bright without being harsh on the eyes. Whether you're working in tight spaces or need extra light in a large area, this light has you covered. It’s versatile and durable, and I’ve found it to be an indispensable tool for all kinds of tasks.I highly recommend the Astro Tools 52SL LED Slim Light — it’s a must-have for anyone looking for a reliable, powerful, and rechargeable work light!

So great, im buying it again!
I bought this light along with another, tried and true Astro light, that I had lost. I'm a mechanic, and to me, the best show of a product is the question "if i broke/lost this tool, would i buy it again?". The answer to that question, for this product is, many times over, YES! This light is great! Super bright! Never had any issues with it until i dropped it into a basically full drain pan of coolant, and it was completely submerged. I then took it apart and drained it the best i could, but the damage had already been done. I let it dry over the weekend and when i went to use it the following monday, it kept flickering and then wouldn't go any brighter than the minimum brightness. Surprisingly the secondary side light still works just fine, but since you can't turn it on without turning on the primary, its somewhat annoying to use that way.Up until the primary light gave me issues (due to my own accident), the secondary light was completely useless to me. I couldn't seem to find a time where having both of the side lights on at the same time was beneficial, at least in the automotive world. Also the side magnet wouldn't hold properly on a flat surface where the bottom of the handle/body also contacted due to the slight angle of the body of the light. That being said, the bottom magnet is great, as long as it is on a mostly flat surface. The battery life is "ok" if you use it continuously on the max brightness (as i do) it will last about half the work day (4-5 hours on and off), and has to be switched out. Some might consider that good, but i was kind of hoping for a bit more. I never used the wireless charging portion, so i can't comment on that.Despite those minor gripes, I am purchasing it again because i love it so much. I bought it as a trial, and it quickly became my most used/favorite light. It is not water proof or even slightly resistant, but it never claimed to be. The part i like the most is the swivel/flex of the light, coupled with its seemingly perfect size. Also when placed on abnormal surfaces, it doesn't roll because of its shape. All and all, I really like it and will continue to use my damaged light, and the new one when it comes in.

Excellent brightness, great lighting options, directions and magnet, no heat
Great visibility with multiple different options for lighting with the push of a button. The magnet in the base is strong and attaches firmly and the neck is adjustable allowing lighting positioning where you need it. Nice is not heat like given off by incandescence or halogen. The charge lasts long enough for my projects under an hour but it does take a long time to recharge plugged in. This is my new go-to light!

Game changer
This is one sturdy built light. Holds a charge for a long time also. How did I survive under my cars without one? I had cheap ones but they didn't cut the mustard. This light is possibly the best buy for 2024 for my tool collection. The light is bright, maneuverable and the magnet is sometimes a little too strong.

This has ruined me because I can’t buy cheap drop lights anymore
This thing is beefy, can be quite bright, the battery lasts a long time and I’m glad to have purchased it. Prior to this one, I had purchased the real cheap 4-packs available on Amazon, and went through those like they were candy. This one has been a workhorse compared to those, and lasts for much longer than they do. It was more than I wanted to spend but so far seems like it’s worth the money.

Overall, an awesome addition to any shop.
I fully charged this light when I first got it. It comes with a brick and a cord. I really like the fact that the flashlight at the tip is plenty bright for many uses. The single side light is extremely bright, and using both sides at the same time is blinding. I also like the feel of this light in my hand. The grip is perfect and it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. The light can be angled with a few detents keeping it in position, but it will not balance on a non-magnetic surface. The magnets could be stronger, but should suffice for most jobs. It also comes with the capability of wireless charging. This is replacing an aluminum Hobo Freight light that is much flimsier and dimmer, with a pretty short battery life, and that has a charging connection that is hit or miss, after only about nine months of use.

Amazing work lights
I've bought so many lights over the years as a technician that its not funny. I decided to give these a try instead of another tool truck light and I couldn't be more happy that I did. I hope they never stop making these, because I'll never buy another light. The 2 I have have taken a beating. Dropped constantly, dropped in oil drain buckets full of oil, you name it. They have survived great and still work and wirelessly charge beautifully. Super bright and great battery life. I bought the two I have about a year and a half ago.
