I didn't like the fact that I had to, "Fit", it to my quad. Most pipes are manufactured in a single piece that use the existing mounting holes. Regardless, if you want a budget exhaust, it works for less money...

Great exhaust
The exhaust works great and its nice being able to remove the silencer insert. It sounds great. Why buy a $400 pipe when you can get this for half the price. The only problem I had was the bolt that came with it to mount the hanger snapped when I tightened it. The seller was quick to respond when I asked for the tracking number.

The adapter doesn’t fit the stock header and requires modifications for a 400ex

Good sound and quality doesn't seem cheaply made at all. Stock exhaust clamp to the header wouldn't fit but not a big deal sounds good with or without the quiet core insert. My quad is all stock with this pipe and seems to run good without jetting

excellent quality, fitment was spot on
Fast shipping, excellent quality, fitment was spot on. Just wish it was a little quieter but the bike does have alot of motor work to it. So is hard to quiet down. All in all excellant.

Really nice exhaust, looks very nice on my race-built 400ex
Really nice exhaust, looks very nice on my race-built 400ex. Constructed very well. Putting it on took a little bit of work just because the end of my factory header was out of round. Once I got that fixed, it went on very easily. Springs have good tension, bolt holes lined up perfectly, and clamp holds tight. Having a removable spark arrestor is awesome if you want to have your 400ex quiet when off the track, and loud when on the track. With the spark screen out, it sounded almost identical to my old FMF Powercore IV. Great exhaust, exceptional quality construction. Definitely worth the buy, way better price than FMF or HMF exhaust systems.
