So this thing has a lot of very cool features, some that require a subscription, but the simple ones that are very beneficial - and free. For example, although my network is on a UPS, during an extended outage my satellites can come up quicker than my core router. Unfortunately a reboot doesn’t fix my network balancing. The only fix I found is to power off my router and power it back on. It is rare, but when it happens, I really need to power cycle so my legacy devices connect. This is a perfect way to remotely connect and request a reset, plus I can tell it how long the power off/on interval will be - and it truly is a button click. Now I can feel confident that I can fully reset all of my devices remotely.

Many times I did not have to travel across town to reset Internet in my offices. Beautiful user interface works every time flawlessly. Settings are extremely versatile everything from simple start and stop remotely up to having the device monitor and reset my Internet connection in my absence. What a wonderful convenience for both time and security in a very small profile device so easy to install.

The top critical review for this device is nonsense. You absolutely CAN do a remote reset with this device. That is its' purpose and it does this well Over the years I have purchased FIVE of these devices. I've seen improvement in each version. The EZ-72b is the best version yet. It literally took less than 5 minutes to get this device configured and working in the app. You just plug into the same network of the device you're using, then SCAN, and it adds this device to the app. Very easy. The device is very configurable. You can set device name, various time parameters, and how it pings. I would recommend disabling SHUTDOWN. Should you accidentally shutdown the device remotely you must physically return to the device to turn it back on because this kills your internet. However, the RESET function works perfectly to power down/power Up your modem/router. I have Comcast and if the internet goes down, you must do a power reset on the modem to restore internet service. This device performs this task flawlessly. It is the perfect solution, especially when away from home. I give this device my unconditional endorsement. It's a great device!!

It's smaller than I expected, but it's enough to run the wall warts for my modem and router. It's fairly easy to use and has wifi AND eternity support at the same time so I can monitor both the router and the modem and reset them either both or independently. It is only meant for smaller loads, it will take wall warts but nothing with a 3nprong plug that draws a lot of current. The wires are too small to carry much current. It's perfect for low power devices. It's not going to switch on and off fans or anything like that. It's easy to use either through the app or the built in web server. It's well built and looks like it will last. The only thing that isn't mentioned in the description is that if you want notifications or logs, you have to pay $60 a year for it. Way too much for something like this. I can make do with the free version but the description infers that the full cloud service is free. They don't mention the upsell after you install the app.

This works excellently and was quite easy to set up. I previously had tremendous problems with power outages causing the house WiFi to stop. This product has been in use for several months and has not let me down once. If you require constant WiFi for home security, thermostats, etc., then you might wish to consider purchasing this product.

BE CAREFUL!! The process to set up the switch was NOT easy. In the process of scanning two QR codes, I got a screen that said 'enter your card info. your card will not be charged for activation'. After the info was entered, I got anothern screen that said 'your card was declined'. Say what?? "Put in info for another card." Did that. But again, screen said 'card was declined'. I glanced at top of screen and it showed something like 'en.sports.---'. WITHIN 90 MINUTES AN UNAUTHORISED CHARGE APPEARED ON CARD NUMBER 1!! The 'registration process' for this device is a giant scam!! You have been warned.

I have cameras and other gear on my wifi, that I like to access from anywhere, and sometimes the router disconnects from the cable company's modem, and the only way to reconnect is to reboot. Well, that's hard to do if I'm not there. So, I wanted an automatic reboot to happen, and this device does just that. I had to fiddle around a bit to get the settings right but it was no big deal to figure out. I have both the modem and the router hooked up and I reboot them in a sequence with a certain timing between both.

A really crappy ISP made this device of interest to me. I researched into all the other "IP outlet" switches. An alternative device was purchased as a gift for me as well (prior to purchase). If you are looking for a truly IP controlled switch this works great! (app not needed, internal web gui) If you are looking for a device to restart your internet when connection drops, this works great! Simple to install and understand. Works perfectly as expected. I am writing this review because I recently had an "outage" moment with my Internet again. Physically being there by the device I was able to see everything reset and come back online within 3 minutes. Highly suggest this device. Or for people looking for a "self-hosted" option. CON: No data or logs on power events, logins, or errors. Not truly needed, but good for a diagnostics standpoint. Summary: Highly recommend this device! Use the web GUI, works better then the app.

Can't register to clould. serial not found. need to return. first device register to clould but 2nd device not registred due to serial number invalid ot not exist.
