Helped find out where my cables went
I used this product to search for where some mystery cables went in my wall. I have an older WiFi version that works pretty well, but having the screen on the system makes for a better solution (turn it on and use it). Overall I am very impressed with the quality and ease of use of this system.ScreenI am impressed with the screen, I really wasn't expecting much from the included screen, but it is probably the same screen they use for the 4K version so the pixel density is very good and brightness/contrast is great. Looks as good as most modern smartphones. I mostly used it indoors but it seems to look ok in the sun too. The menu is very simple and the buttons are pretty easy to deal with. Effectively you have a single press for one item and a long press for the secondary item. The front buttons for + and - function as the light intensity and also the "switch camera" and "flip image" buttons. It is nice to be able to get to these quickly without going through a menu. Same with access to the image/video switch button on the side, it is easy to access.Main CameraThe main camera, despite being only 1080p, is really quite good. I could get pretty good detail within 4" of the lens and could probably do better adjusting the light intensity. By good I mean I could read the writing on the cable in my wall pretty well. The camera will require some occasional cleaning because the outer housing extends beyond the lens to protect it from scratches (I assume) so it will sometimes collect debris. Most of the time debris will fall off with a light shake though. Most of the cleaning for me was from me touching the lens and getting oil on it which will degrade the image quality pretty quickly. I was wiping it down before each use for the best image quality.Side CameraI wasn't sure about this camera, but in practice it is very handy. With my old camera I would often need to pull back the camera and add a bend to get a view of what I needed. With the side camera you can just turn it on and rotate the unit to see what is 90 degrees to the side. This is really helpful when you are at a dead end and need to look around for where to go next. It seemed that I couldn't read cables quite as easily with the side camera, but this camera is still a valuable feature to have for tight spaces.Overall it think it is a great endoscope. It is a cool gadget that helped me not need to tear open a wall to figure out where the previous owner had run an HDMI cable to. Mystery solved! It did come with a few attachments: a hook and a magnet. Both attachments seem pretty useful for grabbing small items that may have fallen out of reach. It also came with a nice case that seems durable enough to keep it safe. Some upcoming uses will include checking exterior house holes to verify that rodents don't have access and exploring the empty space between two rooms. I also may try to use the magnet to grab a key that fell between the slats of my deck.

FANTASTIC FOR THE MONEY!!!!!!!!!!
This thing is awesome for the money. I can't believe they can sell it for what they do given what it does. Excellent unit that has a 1001 applications and is great for being able to see into hard to reach areas.I live near an area that has an endemic Black Widow population and anytime I need to reach into an area that might be risky in my garage, I get this borescope and have a look. It's great for finding stuff you drop and the wire has just the right amount of stiffness to allow you to progress it along into a tight space. The second camera is downright invaluable and really helps to orientate you and see what you otherwise couldn't. Another awesome feature is the ability to switch camera orientation in software to ensure you're always looking at an object correctly.Really a great and handy item for your home and I can't recommend it enough.I bought this companies otoscope too as my Wife had some ear fullness and wanted me to take a look. Again fantastic and shocking we can access this tech for the minimal amount of money it costs.

Better than others I've tried in the same price range.
I'm pretty happy with this endoscope. I had tried 3 others throughout the years before this one. One from Amazon and 2 from other sellers. This endoscope gives a pretty clear picture and all of the functions seem to work as they're supposed to. I especially like the side camera which works great in certain cases. I don't like that there's no zoom and the lights could be a little brighter, also the irreplaceable battery. I knew that it didn't have a zoom function when I bought it, so you must get extremely close to what you're trying to see because the lights aren't very bright. Other than that I would definitely recommend this to the occasional user. If and when the battery dies, I'm quite sure that the majority of people will be able to replace it themselves. It comes in a nice hardshell case and has all of the little camera head additions and an sd card. Overall I am satisfied with this item and would definitely recommend it to others. At a price like this, it's a hard deal to beat.
