Worked as expected
My only advice is to replace both fans, even if you have an issue with only one, you have the laptop open anyways. I replaced only one, a month after the second fan had issues and I have to reopen the laptop again which took some time :(

Loud
Fit in my Alienware 17R4 (GTX 1070) I bought these because my original GPU fan was on its way out after about 5 years and was making an extremely loud grinding noise that was quite worrisome. When it started, I stopped using the computer because I was afraid of damage. These replacements fit perfectly in my Alienware 17R4 (GTX 1070), but these fans are loud! Like very loud! I don't know if the set that I got is defective, but they are almost as loud as the one I got these to replaced! All my diagnostics say that they are working as intended, and that they are performing well, but I've never had a set of new fans be this loud. It's not really a bad thing, but it leads me to wonder if these will have issues and not last as long as they should.

If you have to replace them, these work great.
Found a how-to on youtube, was able to do it myself without ruining my laptop. Pretty sure they are the same brand as what came in the computer.

Perfect fit for Alienware M17 R2
The were a perfect fit to replace the OEM fans whose bearings were gone. Reasonable price and quick delivery.

6 months of life, designed to fail.
Bought in April and it’s beginning to fail, maybe 6 months of function. I’ll let it grind a bit louder before I replace with a DIFFERENT BRAND! Stupid products DESIGNED TO FAIL! Shameful engineers polluting our planet with parts designed to fail. Buy American if you can.
