Very pretty bright color.
This worked great for my project. It arrived well packaged with no leaks. I used it for a T-shirt project and dyed 10 children's shirts and have about half the bottle left. I didn't use a separate setter afterwards, and there is some fading after a couple washes, but the colors are still beautiful.

This the better one from Rit Dye
I normally use this one just by removing cap and seal from the bottle and then placing it inside the washing machine drum, on top of the clothing, making sure it sits vertical. Then I add the right amount of salt and hot water via the soap dispenser or by pouring it directly on top of the clothing inside the drum. Start the hottest longest cycle (on a Bosch is "towels") and that is it. The bottle will empty itself after a couple of swirls and will mix with the water quickly and provide homogenous result. This will avoid making a mess on your soap dispenser, which is likely made of white plastic, it will stain and will take forever to clean up.No way i will put this thing trough the soap dispenser again, I did it once and took forever to remove the dye from it.Other than this the results are good; I wish the dye did not fade as fast as it does with the following washings though, since it starts to fade after 3 or 4 washings, even in cold water.

Camel color
Very nice on wool. Use the directions on the bottle for perfect results. Over corrected a stain on a tan wool coat leaving a large lighter stain and colored it with the camel. Came out beautifully. Left for the full hour.

Nice color, easy to use.
Love this true deep purple color and ease of use. The color is a bit deeper than the bottle if you’re not using a bright white.

Color refresher for dingy white headband
I have a beloved older Lululemon headband that I have worn and washed many times which eventually began to show its age. The formerly crisp clean white appearance needed a refresh so I looked online for a suitable dark color dye and I settled upon the Rit navy blue as my preferred option. I boiled water in a kettle and added salt and a dash of dish liquid to produce this renewed item. I did this project in a tiny metal bowl in my kitchen sink. It’s great to get another “life” out of my high quality clothing item. Lululemon isn’t the cheapest headwear and it’s great to have this piece back in my collection. The Lululemon navy was a color I couldn’t find online and now I have it. I replaced the lost white with a fresh new white. I now have a headband for every outfit, it was fast. Probably if I knew the fabric content I would give a better review. Different fabrics can get a variation of results. 100% cotton would get a better result but this headband is some sort of stretchy material, probably a Lycra type synthetic blend. None the less the result is decent.

Instructions could be better, results were meh
To be fair I tried to scotchbright the shoes first. That didn't work. Since I didn't want to spend every night washing my shoes, I decided my best bet would be to dye them. I bought azure blue. Does my picture look azure blue to you? After purusing Amazon, this product had the best reviews. Upon receiving my product and reading the directions, I had difficulty finding out what fabric was even on my shoes. Turns out polyester- which is apparently difficult to dye. I am going to tell you what I did in case it helps someone. I looked up a couple different sites including the manufacturers site. One site said plastic or glass is best to use and not metal because it can change the composition of the die but you are supposed to have the dye at 140 degrees or more for an hour. I couldn't figure out how to do that without using a metal pan. Then the site that discussed dyeing polyester said you had to put 1 cup of salt into the pot of at least 3 gallons and let it dissolve. The site said to use double the amount of dye for polyester so I dumped the whole jar in. I added the teaspoon of soap the conditioner advised and after stirring. I set my shoes in to soak for an entire hour. Now, the site told me I had to follow up with some sort of rinse set which of course I did not have. So I looked up home made alternatives. This is where I made my big mistake. I used vinegar. Too much I think. The site said 1 parts to 4 . And to use cold water. I filled up the sink. And put a cup in. It looked like the dye just came right off. The shoes are a lot lighter than I wanted and not as uniform in color. It will be better than the white. But it would have been better if the seller had told me when I purchased it that I would need another product. Or maybe even mentioned polyester on their bottle at all. I had to search it out and piece the info together and it ended up being more stressful than it had to be. So all you get is 3 stars for the hassle and my uneven dye job.

What a gorgeous shade!
I dyed several items in my front loader with one bottle per garment, and the garments (and one Vera bag) came out gorgeous. It’s an intense and happy shade. The white cotton and linen soaked up the color quite intensely. A cotton shirt with a no wrinkle finish came out pale but still pretty. The Vera bag was shades of beige and a bit humdrum and came out aqua with greenish beige flowers, looking much better. With all the dye loads, I simply put a half cup of salt in hot water and one bottle of dye, put dye fixative in the tray, and started the load to add the hot water. I added the garment as soon as the dye and salt were mixed and ran the load without extra rinses. It was easy. I would just advise NOT putting dye in the tray because it spilled over and made a mess when I did that. Just don’t pour the dye onto a garment. Also, make sure that your garment is clean and really wet when you put it into the front loader washer. I do miss having a top loader for dying things, because you can dye more at once and get even saturation of color, but it can still be done with a front load washer with success.

Superb even colour.
So easy to use. Don't forget to mix with water as I did on the first attempt... which means read the instructions which are actually very easy . My doll hair was transformed from aged green to luxurious brown.

Leaked everywhere
Im sure the dye would of worked fine if it had made it on to my clothes. Sadly the bottles arrived half empty.
