A perfect skull cap for my head, ordered a large, with a head size of 23.5 just enough room and a tiny bit of stretch it stays on and doesn't squeeze my head to death. Lightweight and cool/warm enough to wear through the day, even work.Hand made in Indonesia and hand wash with cold water. Quality product and will be buying more.

It does not stretch. Make sure it fits.

The large is larger than I thought

From the photo, one would expect a beanie cap that is JUST a top-of-the-skull fit. This cap, even the medium size (which this is not a question of fit or size), had one or two too many rows of crochet. It was too long from the crown to the brim and would have overlapped my ears without a "cuff".

Nice, thick, but soft material, this feels like a quality kufi. It comes in 2 sizes, the large size is only necessary if you have a very thick head of hair, or a larger head. Some of these kufis are so thin that they become transparent when stretched over the head, but not this one, with it's thick, woven knit texture. I will buy more of these in different colors. Recommended.

Good looking, seems durable, But every time I wash it it seems to stretch

I ordered this kufi for my 41 yo son. Some of the other reviews was helpful in deciding on the size. he has a somewhat large head and wanted it to come down slightly over his ears, it did just that and he's happy with the Medium. Also the quality is really nice which he commented on and liked. I searched this site about 45 min studying the quality/size of many and this one met my preference, paid more but the quality is worth it. Will definitely buy again!

When I got this I did enjoy the hat. Fits my large head well (61cm) and kept my head warm but without overheating. The roll at the side could be a little annoying for prolonged wear but was otherwise quite happy. Until I washed the hat. It noticeable shrunk to a point where it felt stretched when I put it on my head. I don't doubt it would expand over time, but it was uncomfortable enough that I didn't persist with this, especially as the rim roll had increased, making that discomfort more noticeable. My girlfriend was looking for something light to wear for the Autumn months so has now taken ownership and loves it, given her smaller head size. I washed mine at 40 degrees Celsius so nothing too mad. If you're getting one you might need to hand wash only if you don't want it to shrink.
