Launch CRP909E Full Systems

I didn't know what to expect out of a tool in this price range, but I was pleasantly surprised. I'd watched some reviews on it before I bought it, where the reviewer said it does not have any bi-directional controls. That is *NOT* true. It does have some bi-directional coms. On my 04 Honda CR-V I was able to actuate my purge valve and vent solenoid from the scanner. I could hear the valves open and close. Which was awesome. Obviously if you need full control of the systems you'll need a more feature rich scanner, but the fact that I could communicate with some systems was a really nice surprise. Graphing live data was no problem for the modules that I could graph, and the refresh rate for the scanner was fast enough for basic testing. Being able to send a complete report to my email from inside the scanner was great. And I mean a *Complete* report. Everything the scanner shows you on the screen is duplicated in the email. You can even drop down through different tests. It's a full html webpage basically. One thing to note is that navigating the interface can be a little frustrating until you get used to it. Once you get a feel for it it's not so bad, but just something to be aware of. The scanner does have a feature that allows you to select any code and search the scanners internal database for what that code is, or it'll connect to the web and search Google for you. If you're connected to wifi for the Internet search, but that's still amazing. No more writing codes down and trying to look them up later. Do it right on the tool while you're sitting in the vehicle! The scanner does maintain a battery level/charge through the OBDII port it's connected to, so it's nice not to have battery anxiety while using the unit. For this price, it's a hard scanner to beat. It has a lot of really great features if you don't need a really powerful (expensive) unit, but something better than the basic code readers. Update the tool as soon as you get it. It took me about 10 mins probably. The only complaints are: Not Bluetooth and the interface can be confusing until you get used to it. Not really a big deal in either case for me.

Launch has done it again with a superior product for a nice price. This tool does what most cannot. The more I use it, the more functions I find. I have had all of the Bidirectional controls work that I have tried. I only work on Domestic and Asian vehicles and this tool has been able to do the work that my $4000 scanner has done. Graphing would be the limiting factor on this tool so far. Health reports scan all of the vehicle computers that are scanable for codes and operation. Simple, Easy to use, Understandable and Functional.

I love everything about it I’ve never came across nothing like this before, it uses WiFi and it’s easy to use it’s also compatible with all or most vehicles. Once it’s connected it helps you by detecting the problem right away to be fixed without you have to figure it out on your own. It’s tells your what the problems are and how to solve them so I would recommend everyone to purchase this item for their vehicle which includes Subaru, BMW, Toyota and Mercedes Benz.

THIS IS CHINA MADE. ASKED FOR HELP ON LAUNCH WEBSITE AND WAS TOLD TO GET A HOLD OF CHINA LOCATION. THEY COULD NOT HELP. I PURCHASED TO USE SPECIAL FUNCTIONS AND DID NOT WORK ON ALL THREE OF MY VOLVO'S. MY $50 SCANNER DOES EVERYTHING THIS SCANNER DOES ON A VOLVO.

I was worried about getting this because there are so many obd testers but I'm glad I did best scanner I used in a wile!! Tks launch. Update 11/23/23 just wish there was a better manual for this for the most part it's still great but no way to just see what certain things will do I guess it is what it is, also the update card you got to buy is very expensive, just do some research before you buy.

So far it's working great to soon to know everything about it, as long it keeps working the way is doing now, it's a great product.

Me ah gustado que tiene buena cobertura multimarcas y funciones especiales. También las actualizaciones vía wifi se descargaron sin problema. La duración de la batería va excelente. Fácil de manejar y Estuche muy resistente.

Es muy buen equipo solo que en los autos de modelo no reciente (2000-2008) tarda mucho en comunicar y diagnosticar y muchos modelos no los soporta, un ejemplo el renault megane 2008
